The good thing about the power meter is that it can double as a pick if you happen upon a guitar on your run, and feel like playing a little ditty.

Its not cheap, but a professional grade rollga foam roller is something that a strength and conditioning coach recommended in a video i saw, and he was right. Maybe worth you checking out too? I can foamroll my shins on it, because of the contours. Thats my only secret weapon, but I’ll offer it to you. :)

love your videos!! Could you maybe do a video on the 'base training' aspect of marathon training? you said you would be running way too fast if you were training yourself, it made me think maybe i am running too fast... (im training for my 3rd marathon atm sub 3.30)! would love a video on this, as i've never had a coach...maybe this would help a lot! thanks :) loving this series btw!! keep up the hard work! :D

Watch the expiration dates on your gels! I ordered bulk pack of Gu on Amazon and most were expired and caused me digestive issues! Get a fuel belt so you can carry more as you hit longer 20+ mile runs.

With your coach, did you do any specific goal setting for time or place wise in the marathon pre-mature to you training for a more specific training plan? Just curious :) love the vid!

Good video Emma, you are awesome at making running videos, power metre sounds interesting if you are into the gadgets, but don’t think it’s something you must have, maybe good for sub 3 hour elites haha some of the recovery protein drinks are good, but also good to make your own from whole foods, check out you tubers like Sage Cannady & Harry Runs are both top ultra distance runners both vegan vegetarians pretty much make up their own protein & recovery drinks from whole foods not off the shelf synthetics, keep up the good work Emma 😀
