A 33s video in which the first 10s are introduction. Perfect. No one needs a 20 minute video!
My exact thoughts, it's nice (and rare) for someone to just go direct to the necessary info.
Make sure to light it on a non flammable surface, I would suggest getting a piece of stone tile from the store to set it on and not have to worry about making a mess on your porch. You can easily rinse off the tile and store it when you don't need it.
Hey Chef Tony if I'm grilling steak and hamburgers which would you cook first ? And also if I need a second batch of coal would I put the unlit coal on top of the lit coal or the lit coal on top of the unlit coal ? Thanks
Grill the steak first, you want a very hot grill for searing the steak. When adding more coal, you can add it on top of the lit coal, the air is drafting from the bottom to the top of the grill, so it will catch just fine. Best of luck!
I love my chimney starter. There's no easier way to light charcoal for the grill.
Hey how would you cook the steak and hamburgers together I ikow you cook the steaks first over direct heat and would I put the hamburgers over direct heat Also since my grill is big and charcoal is evenly spread ?
Check out this video for some hamburger tips: ua-cam.com/video/SQQnzdlrKw8/v-deo.html I like to sear the burgers then dwell down the fire so that they get cooked through and a good smokey flavor.
Okay, but where do you actually light the chimney starter??? Patio deck? Driveway? Help me out with this. I have my BGE on my patio. It's a pool with a screen enclosure, but I'm not sure about lighting the paper on the deck???
You can set it on top of your grill grates, on your grill.
That's what I did as well, started it on the grill grates inside the grill, then added more coals, poured it over as shown.
Just use common sense.
