Being in the top 100 is completely different from reaching rank one on any given server you feel like within half a month. He literally got rank one in 2 weeks on a chinese server built to allow specifically the best players only and he still curb stomped them. Obviously me or you couldnt even get top 100 im not saying its not impressive, but getting top 100 a few seasons after grinding from months is way different than getting rank 1 in a few weeks multiple times just because you want to. Even faker has not done that at this time and he is the best of all time. Undoubtedly apdo is the best soloq player to ever play, its simply unquestionable. As for being good in pro play that is a somewhat fair point only because he hasn't gone pro, but consider this: the best player to ever play solo queue, who is also know for being able to play any role (top mid jungle adc) besides support at a challenger or even rank one level ( again something none of the best players of all time can boast, not even faker), whilst also doing these things in mere weeks and stomping what few competitive tournaments he has been involved in would probably make for a world class player. Potentially even the best player of all time, no? Of course we will never know, but his skill cannot be doubted.

Short of winning worlds and msi as well all in the same year that is quite literally the highest level you can achieve in this game. So yes he is sill playing at the highest level.
