Great words I recognise so many of the themes and stories. My friend had to walk back from the Roller Express with no jacket. And so many train rides with no ticket after the rave. Memories.❤
When riddims used to take you on a journey.. throughout the track there's just niceness. Can't beat the 90s era of jungle music. Just hits different in my humble opinion..Those old enough know the vybz. Nostalgia.💯🫡🔥🔥👏🏾
This track is ahead of it's time. The amen is programmed so rythmatically and the pad sounds so raw but smooth. And this was released in '93-94? Damn. Edit: I just noticed, this song uses both halfs of the amen break. You can hear it because it switches from a double kick to a single kick and the snares swap back and forth sound similar but distincly different. Truly amazing.
@@gr1mr3apa15 at this point in time both sections of the Amen were rarely used together and most people didn't even have access to the entire break, just small sections from a sample pack or an empty breakdown of a track
@@yeshyyeshiam2520 easily produced on a drum machine like mpc, a lot of jungle breaks are produced in layers mate not just one! Jus sounds like u smoke a spliff and now caught up in the break trance lol.

This track was clearly well advanced for its day. The sampling, layers and effects were complex and harmonious unlike much of the trend at the time. Big up sir!
there was loads of complex and harmonious layered sampling and effects in tracks back then from a lot of very good producers.. Very musical stuff going on... in the UK there was a whole movement of Hardcore Rave music, and MCing that was evolving every day and Jungle was developing through that, partly due to the influence of the soundclash/Ragga/Dub DJs and MCs in the UK.. seriously, listen to the old Raves.. and Take Me Back Pirate Radio gives you a good idea of the progression of the years and styles through their extremely important (and great to listen to) archive
