We are back with Armand&Lavinia, and a new Kizomba Tutorial. More coming soon, but until then... get back up and smash that subscribe button if you want more kizomba videos :D
Good Video and well explained but one addendum. The turning of the upper Body should start on the first step with his left shoulder forward so you can prepare the outside step on 2 and finish the isolated turn in the body. An Outside step should be pürepared beforehand not exactly with the step
It's true that on a more advanced level you should/could dissociate even more, and add even more techniques even on the most simplest of steps/moves BUT this are just some tips/techniques for the "basic" move. Also, I think you meant that you should dissociate with the right shoulder forward, when you step (as a leader) with the left forward. The dissociation is called like that because we use left leg-right shoulder forward motion.
@@MariusElenaBachata No i meant rotating the left shoulder slightly forward and right back (turning your upper body slightly to the right) while doing the first step with the left food. Other way round would be really contra productive ^^ It's the same in argentine tango on the side step in position 2. Left foot to the side, upper body turns to the right do that position 3 can be forward outside of partner. The difference in kizomba is the foot position which is diagonally forward.
@@93BlackViper Dissociation or CBM (Contra-Body-Movement) : The left leg moves forward as the right side of the body moves forward (the torso rotates to the left, which means that the right shoulder is in a more forward position compared to the left one). This is the actual definition of Dissociation or CBM in this case (left foot-right shoulder). Look it up. If you need we can make a video on this.
I know what it stands for. But you can't do the cbm on the first step with the left foot cause that would be contrary to the position you need to reach for step 2 with the right. I mean the exact opposite. I tried to find an english name but i think it doesn't exist because the moves in ballroom dancing are written down as such that you have one step beforehand where you do the CBM and end up in the CBMP. Basically if you would just walk with your partner forward in closed position and to switch to an outside position you should do a CBM whilst stepping in line with the right foot so that your left side goes forward and then you don't do any active rotation again whilst stepping on the left foot. But since you start from a neutral position in basic1 or 2 with your left you can't do that. For step 2 u need your body turned to the right and this movement starts on step 1. Simply to prepare the outside step and not break up the posture between the partners. Hope that explains what i meant. 🙂
