Mate I have been to dozens of big name metal bands in my 50 years, but seeing BABYMETAL live in Australia recently was just next level. Absolutely one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. Hope you enjoyed it Brother, Thanks for the video.
It's crazy to me, I'd heard of Babymetal because Gimme Chocolate was a meme for a bit, but a friend of mine convinced me to see them in back when I was in LA, at the Palladium. He was from Ukraine, and I agreed just to be a good friend, and figured I might get a laugh out of it. Keep in mind, I've been to 1000s of concerts since my first in 1996 (Pearl Jam), and have seen every band and genre under the sun. Babymetal blew my mind in a way that no other band ever has. I walked out immediately knowing it was one of the best shows I'd ever seen, maybe even the best. They're coming to Phoenix in a few weeks and I'm so pumped, even though it won't surprise me when it's awesome. It's a level of perfection on every single front that no other band I know of touches. It's the best live rock show out there right now, and as far as can tell even the girls are still loving it, and that was my one concern when I saw them originally. Everybody involved seems to love it, and that makes me just love it. Road to Resistance is maybe my favorite life metal song, other than the hyped feeling Babymetal Death gives me because of what's to come.
Although I am 65 now and been privileged to see most of the great bands during my lifetime, only came across Baby Metal recently. What has taken time to sink in - just how awesome the entire set-up is. Terrific band and the choreography surely has its roots in ancient performance artistry. The sublime vocals, especially when called upon during their anthems... Overall, a brilliant and so heartfelt, uplifting genre. Thought I had seen it all...! ❤
I'm 64, first heard of them in 2017, I have seen them twice and I'm going to see them in Orlando (again) this weekend, they are right up there with the best for a Rock show and I've seen the best! Zepplin (twice), Stones (twice) , Queen, Fleetwood Mac (partied with them in the Green Room after the show), The Police, Allman Brothers, Steely Dan (twice), to name a few...
the choreography originates from them once being a sub band of a very very well known jpop band. jpop is very much choreographed and meticulously planned
I'm a 62 year old British man living in England,been a Hard Rock/Metal fan all my life but....I just don't get Babymetal at all....3 dancers who sing and a backing band,it does zero for me at all.....maybe someone could explain the attraction for me ?.

I was in the Show And I Wish i would go back experience this Insane show Agian again when they played the Road of resistance at the end i was Tearing up almost sobbing like a baby since it was my First ever Concert ❤❤

(last one of the tour). eye level with the stage,no one in front of me,and people on the floor at least a couple of feet below me. i should get some pretty good video. i'm hoping tom morello will show up for metali since he lives there.🦊

The pit was awesome for this concert. Oddly enough the crowd was quite calm during dethklok segment and makes me think most folks was here to see babymetal
If you were near the front, people were going crazy in the mosh pit. A lot of the times, I got pushed back from the front to the middle. The Deathlok segment was wild, everyone was running in circles like a whirlpool slipping and running into people.

I freaking LOVED this show! Just saw it in Toronto and I was totally mind blown. It was the first time I managed to see them live and it was so much fun. I cannot describe how magical and amazing it was. Thanks for posting this! :) I totally get what you're saying about the mosh pit. I was at the front rail and still got bounced around (Not a complaint at all)

I am kind of disappointed of the new setlist of the second part of the world tour. I wished they stay with iine! And megitsune because I want to hear these in the show I will attend in December. But it would not be fun if they did’t change the setlist in the whole tour…
@@dinegd9873 They have played Megitsune almost every single show for the last 10 years, so I wouldn't worry about that one making the setlist. They are headlining the Europe tour, so there will probably be another couple songs more than what is on the US tour. So Iine or Doki Doki Morning might be back on the setlist. Or maybe more songs from TOO. I was only talking about the US tour setlist. Europe tour they will probably change it up some.

Was at this show and near the front. You can actually see me for a sec crowd surfing out during headbanger because I was so exhausted from going hard throughout DethKlok’s and Baby Metal’s sets! You’re guaranteed going to have a great time!
You can tell its an American crowd with all those cell phones up. Not going to lie though, I will record a little too. But not entire songs. Just enough for keepsakes beyond the best memories I will have take with me. Can't wait to see them in October. I do wish their set was longer though. Like 14 songs at least. Didn't see anyone swinging towels during PAPAYA. At least not in this video. Hope some fans were. 🤘🦊🤘
I recorded the entire song so I can remember everything that happened on that historical moment. It probably is inconsiderate to others watching. But this helps others who were all the way in the back of the show who could not enjoy it fully.

Have you ever seen a modern american rap concert before. All the kids got the phones up but holy fuck they are still raging and slamming into each other like they dont give a fuck.
My only regret for this show is not paying for the VIP and getting in the pit. Chose to sit up top because I would've lost sleep from the night before and had to wake up early, wanted to avoid passing out. However, concerts are not the same in the upper level for me. This was my first chance to see all 3 acts who I love all of them(including Jason Richardson, playing Retrograde was amazing haha). It was an amazing show regardless, but I know if they ever come back to Houston I will be in the pit up front no matter the cost.
all i keep hearing is either ppl complaining about the crowd being dead or too many phones being out and yes to both but i don’t see anything wrong w recording for keepsakes here and there for songs you like as long as you’re also enjoying the show and being involved!! :> i’m glad others were able to record cuz i couldn’t see and i was by the gate towards the front id only get glimpses of them every now and then but i’ll take it

Or I can pull down the notification screen from the top left that also has a flashlight icon, but using that stops the recording. Are you sure that yours continued recording? :-)

Sorry, I have no knowledge on iPhones camera. Im using the Samsung s23 ultra.
Start recording, then drag your corner menu down and hit the light button. It’s how I did it last night.
@@abigailvalle6494 Thanks, but if I understand you correctly, this doesn't work for me. I can pull down Control Center via the top right, but the flashlight icon is greyed out. Or I can pull down the notification screen from the top left that also has a flashlight icon, but using that stops the recording. Are you sure that yours continued recording? :-)
@@MacTaipan My timer on the recording didn’t stop when I did it. I’ll have to check I guess. 😂
@@abigailvalle6494 You are talking about the notification screen that's swiped down on the left side, right? For me the recording stops as soon as I pull that down.
