A general way of doing this where you do not need to think of carry and stuff - Subtract both numbers by nearest power of 10 individually. This will give a positive or negative number - Multiply the numbers derived in above step - Add "original" number and the "subtracted" number of other number and multiply by the power of 10 - Add the above number with the product of subtracted numbers For example, 88 * 105 Nearest power of 10 = 100 105 +5 88 -12 ------------------------ 93 | -60 Answer = 93 * 100 - 60 = 9240
we can also do this 116 * 87 we will get that number 103 and - 208 just take 10 from 103 it will be 1000 - 208 its 792 116-10 is 102 remaining is 792 so the answer is 102792 i think this one is easy

okayy, so i got a solution in the comments section itself..... Okay friends, here new trick for 2 digit number, product. 42×32= So first 4*3=12 and 2*2=4. So 1204. Then cross multiplication. (3*2 )+(4*2) =14. 1204 + 140 ---------- 1344. I know it seems lengthy, but trust me , it's easy for mental calculation

in this problem we can follow previous rule by subtracting 101-1=100, right side -32. Now, Rhs 100-32=68, Lhs 100-1=99. Final Answer is 9968

The video was really amazing and I got to learn something new. But, at around 16:00 the answer is coming around 112*89=9968 against 10968.
