@@ironwilltennis Great. So one request of mine would be how to defend using a hamer like grip, when the ball is moving out of the court. Another one I do not quite seem to get in actuality is the J shape toss of the ball while serving. For some reason i keep[ tossing on top of me, therefore landing mostly on the line or just in front of it. Thank you in advance.
I wish you have taught tennis online 8 years ago. You could have been the most popular online coach by now. Thanks for sharing the technique. I've been used too much arm swing for my spin and didn't quite know how to apply the footwork and knees correctly.
Thank you for your thorough explanations of the biomechanics and proper usage of the kinetic energy in order to hit a good heavy and powerful shot! I'm an older player trying to incorporate the modern upgrades to the game into an existing continental grip for all shots kinda guy, so I find your explanations and breakdowns extremely useful, thank you again and wish you much success in all your future endeavors!!
you do such a great job explaining these concepts! combining the two footwork videos, my decision making and shots have drastically improved. i've been working on weight transfer this whole year but, only after practicing your concepts, did everything click. keep up the good work!
Hey Coach Will, been binging your content since you had 1k so congrats on the huge growth! If you were in my area I would pay you a visit (whereabouts are you by the way?) Would like to see, if possible, the running/wide FH and squash shots and what to do tactically with them on both wings.
Hi Will, I was wondering if this strategy is intended as a general use rally shot, or, where you are forced into a change of direction, or a full on running forehand? Thanks for your great instructions too.
You can use this little leg drop as often as you like. It just helps with more generation of spin. Now the on the run shot was just an example of a way to apply it and what targets become available when your spin increases that much
This is a big problem for me! I have taken lessons but still have not been able to figure this out. I understand the ice skating concept but my mind goes blank and "bad form" muscle memory takes over when the ball is hit to my forehand side. I misjudge the spacing and my timing is off. I'm glad to hear the squat position is not always needed to hit a good forehand. Where are you located?
You didn't bend your knees at all on your backhand. You were standing straight up. You didn't use leg thrust on the forehand side either. Is this a spoof video, because you are doing the opposite of what you you're saying??🤷🏿♂️
The point of the video was to illustrate it on the forehand side. We were just pushing the ball back and forth to simulate the set up😁. On the 2 running forehands there was definitely the knee bend but it was even said moments later. "I have to slow it down otherwise it happens to fast to see." it's supposed to be a seamless transition on the run, not a hard load.
The question that I wanted to ask is that I am playing with TB 120 from decathlon which has comparatively low bounce and it is for beginners. What recommendation of tennis balls do you have for recreational players. Please suggest.
Finally Someone who can play
I feel like being able to demonstrate is a big part of coaching, so having a strong playing background definitely helps

"silent partner" is a solid brand and they have different models to choose from
@@ironwilltennis i already got the machine, i need advice on balls to buy :)
@bushmenaa oh I apologize, "tretorn" are a ball made specifically for ball machines. They are a little expensive but they'll last a very long time
Love your videos
