Maya I, too was STUNNED and OVERJOYED!!!! Ive read the 3 books several times and have LOVED them!!!! Only discoverd the series because "Cinemax" is having a free weekend. Aftervthe horrible job done on "The Casual Vacancy", I was leery about watching this. The first book was VERY well represented. I dont know when I will ever get to see "The Silkworm" and " Career of Evil", but I'm excited to have those to look forward to. Wasn't sure Jo Rowling would continue to write as Galbraith, when she started "Fantastic Beasts, etc"..
Diane M. Patterson watched all three series adaptation in streaming sites, before finishing the last two books because I just couldn't wait!! Soo happyy that it's sooo gooddd!
Again....heard about the last episode...”heartbreaker” .... they NEED to be together romantically - their chemistry on screen is phenomenal - should have written the TV script with a different ending than the book - so many of us fans of these 2 ppl in THIS series were waiting for this - don’t like Matt’s character at all ... she does NOT belong with him.... please continue to write J.K. Rowling and bring Robin & Strike together as partners in crime solving & romantically!! Last episode not released in Canada yet ... not son anxious to see now that R marries Matt! Ugh
jack lambert - Hi Jack...you make a good point but, for me personally, it would be great if they end up romantically/professionally solving crimes together..don’t hv to be married ...but, fall in love - live together!? I watch TCM classic movies sometimes...very old movies...The Thin Man series....they were married & scripts were written where they worked together solving crimes.....Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall did the same thing in some of their movies. Some other recent HBO series as well. Guess I’m just looking for more romance...so little of it these days - sure, lots of sex.. but not much romance and certainly precious little “chemistry” between actors - but, these 2 ppl on screen were unique! They had something very good going with this series!.....wonder if more “Strike” episodes will be written ...or is “Crave for Evil” truly the END? I seldom find any series that is filmed perfectly to suit my individual taste - this was perfect. Many feel the way you do...but, I’m holding out for “Strike & Robin & love” - & hopefully, more captivating stories that will thoroughly entertain many of us!🤗
Hyacinth Hello.I certainly agree about the chemistry but that's why they must be kept apart hence the wedding.As for falling in love that's a given.I'm a Jane Austen fan and as you probably know the story ends once the couple are together. Looking forward to more.
