I had one - my 2nd bike that I got at the beginning of 1985 when I was 17. Sadly I crashed it in the summer of 86 and it had to be scrapped. Fantastic bike.
Love the videos , I have one in my shed here in Ireland same nick as yours to work on. You should group the gp vids together in a playlist I watched 1 and 2 only found the others when I went through your main video playlist months later. brilliant work
Awesome Ade, I hope you know where all the bits go good to see the decomposition of it though, looks like a lot of work to be done will you salvage much of what you have taken off or replace. Are the parts readily available
ahh i want to learn how to do this so badly! My friend was going to let me help while he fixed up a bike but the garage got broken into and all his stuff got nicked! Great video, subbing now
I did have hassle of the flamin Air filter! Had to drill out the bolts! But all in all, it was an easy strip down. Next time, its going to be completely broken down, ready for the powder coaters 🤗👍
Really enjoyed watching and am looking forward to seeing how you get on with the project. How did you come across the bike, what's your plans for when it's done? Liked the outtakes at the end 👍👍👍
Hi Si, bought it off Ebay, wanted a winter project. I aim to use it for camping trips away in the spring. Ill be getting another one to do up for the Mrs!! 🤦♂️ ATB👍👍👍
Hi, I paid £580, was a good deal. I'm currently working on 3 episodes at once, its taking ages, as parts are painted, bought, sent away for work etc . Will all come together at once! Cheers 👍
