@@Buzz0Killington she actually hasn't been diagnosed yet other than dementia at age 26. Her medical records are also sealed for her privacy. A mental declaration was never made to the court either in the past 13 yrs n this is very important, go research why. Another thing is Bipolar is not always the same, there are many different types and varies from person to person. Meaning that just bcuz u have bipolar doesn't mean u can't live a full and functioning life. N no one can make these conclusions without being her doctor.

The caregiver is sometimes needed...as we see. I take care of my 2 out patient brothers..and thank God I love them..and they take their medication. I do have hard days..based on their moods.. but they need care. Britney needs this help too

Britney lived in a bubble all her life, abused and overworked. Basically she hasn't enjoyed total freedom and independence since she was born, so let her be. The pics may not be what people expect of her, but she's living her life that she wasn't allowed to for so long, it's her way to say f-u to her captors. The reason she had a mental breakdown a decade ago was because of the criticism she received from the media. Don't keep the same train rolling now, be nice when talking about her, support her.
Stop making excuses. She didn’t breakdown because of the media or her family, she has bipolar and she needs help.
@@Buzz0Killington learn the facts. She has bipolar and was going through a lot personally, but the breaking point was the media following her and critizing her every move. She had an episode when they literally pried off her children on visitation and the media was recording the incident. They showed a restrained Britney being taken out of the home. Helicopters above recording everything and posting every bad picture, labeling her as a suicidal, maniac, bad parent. Where's the dignity in that? They did her so wrong. She just wanted the media to leave her alone because she was going through a custody battle and was denied seeing her kids. I am a mom and believe me, if they took my kids like they did to her, I would also breakdown.

Her issues came after the conservatorship and with pharmaceutical medication that messes up ur brain chemistry. I blame the drugs they put her on for her issues. I blame the conservatorship more and media b4 that. If she was actually bipolar the conservatorship wouldn't have ended. They never declared in 2007 what her issue was because she never had one. N she was interviewed by multiple doctors. She needs help bcuz of the how she's been treated by media and the c team

She is free now but acting worse then what she did before the judge ended the conservatorship. When her dad was sick and in the hospital he told the judge to take him off of being her conservator and the judge refused. Meanwhile Brittney end her show in Vegas to fly back home to be by his side. Things were still good between them. If the judge just would have let him step down then who knows if she would have been better or worse. If he didn't need a judges okay to step down he would have. Then there was talk about giving it to her mom and the judge said nope. Up until that point the father and brother stood as far away from the spot light as they could. I really do think he took that job because he didn't want her to die. The mom and her sister were always somewhere in the spotlight.

Britney Spears is not well
I spent 15 years as an entertainment journalist and interviewed Britney before the conservatorship and had some limited contact with her during the conservatorship. She was not the same person. It's like the lights were on but nobody was home. She has been formally diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder and bipolar disorder. While I believe the conservatorship was too strict, she is struggling with very serious mental illness and needs some help with her affairs. She is on a lot of psychotropic medication so it's hard to know how much of it is the medication and how much of it is the mental illness. What I will say is that I don't like people making jokes about her mental illness and body.
Would we do that to a cancer patient? Would we make fun of a cancer patient's bald head, laugh about the bags under their eyes? What is happening to the humanity??? Claudia the fact that you read the comment about her body looking like a stick of butter out-loud for all to laugh (and you laughed along with it) is really disappointing. I always love your humor, it's really the highlight of each of your hosting gigs, but some things are not funny. Why is mental illness always the butt of jokes, yet we don't laugh at cancer patients, burn victims, or car accident victims? Mental illness is not a punchline and there is nothing funny about watching a woman -- famous or not -- struggling with mental illness. The commentary was fine, but can you please be an example and do without the laughs, snickers and cruel ridiculing about her body type and mental health struggles? I would hope that if you go down a dark road with your gambling habit that we aren't here laughing and snickering about it. Can you show the same grace? It's 2022 for Christ sakes.

For many years, I was a conservatorship auditor in a probate court. I totally agree with all of you.
Britney had the bully pulpit. Her father did not, because as conservator, he was not at liberty to discuss any of the personal details of her life. I am not surprised that she is lowkey unraveling at this point. This was a matter for the courts, Britney and her family, and mental health evaluators -- not the general public.
