It’s clear that Neymar would’ve preferred to go back to Barca, but staying at PSG was no longer an option. No one cares about what Craig watches because, in reality, millions of people actually started to discover the Saudi League, and when you see the views and the attention Ronaldo's matches get online, you can confirm that having good players actually works. I'm a Brazilian, and I literally started following the League because of Ronaldo and also because of our players Firmino, Malcom, and now even more with Neymar. Klinsmann might be right about the jealousy/arrogance factor of the european(England in particular) countries regarding the growth of football culture in the middle east. Despite the untruthful criticisms from English and European media, the Qatar World Cup was the best world cup in recent memory. Quality games, dramatic games throughout the tournament, amazing infrastructure inside and out of the stadiums, etc. And, now, Saudi Arabia are attempting to create a huge football culture in their country by bringing in world class players for a potential world cup hosting(I think they should since Qatar did such a good job), and the English media pundits are whining.

@@moonvenerable7897 do you really need me to write you out a list of all the right backs in france compared to all the right backs in saudi arabia?
if neymar was playing for psg this week then he would be marked by Regis-coco of nantes.
not a great right back but decent.
at 27 it doesnt look like his career is going to pan out to much.
he has 7 u21 caps for france but no full call up.
his current market value is only a tiny 1.3 million euros.
instead neymar will be marked by Al-Safar's right back Abdulrahman Al-Safar.
he has no caps at any level for saudi arabia.
he doesnt even have a wiki page.
hes 30 and has only ever played 83 professional games.
his market value is 0.2 million euros.
hes a much easier opponant for neymar.
not even close to the same level as Regis-Coco.
