I love how Dan is here for us and opens this pathway to reach out to him as he truly cares and this has helped me contrary to my paid therapists approach who also encouraged me to track my symptoms more closely and take meds which was honestly labelling me as more broken than before and I was very freaked out by focusing on symptoms trying to label my diagnosis for what felt like an eternity until I discovered the way TMS works by Dan through the only way of turning symptoms off and convinced me I never was broken .

The placebo effect is powerful. Sarno theory explains it. The brain turns off the signal for a while. Surgery for certain things is a powerful placebo.

Seems you are all better now from your cold. Our bodies want to heal us more than not. Your cold is evidence on healing and our brains want to protect us. We just need to put in the correct data like you always let us know. Thanks Dan!

That really depends. Sometimes MS is a misdiagnosis. Sometimes symptoms from mindbody (TMS / Perceived Danger Response) can mimick the same symptoms as MS. Have you put the symptoms through the assessments? IsThisPDP.com

Go read the work of Dr. Irving Kirsch and David Burns. Those antidepressant pills do very little. A doctor told me that way back in the 1970s. Tranquilizers do very little, and only work about 3 days. Sleeping pills are largely ineffective and only make people people sleep 30 minutes earlier.

Dan doesn’t deal with supplements much. I just reread a quote from him. “Medication/Supplements are Self Kindness to yourself until you no longer need them.”
The second success story with Gigi helped me understand better. I’m working on lowering many of my supplements.
We are not broken! Our bodies know how to stay balanced, healthy, and heal. It is our perception of danger that causes symptoms, including anxiety.

Focusing on supplements sounds like still being locked into thinking your body needs to be fixed

I’ve been there, you need to slow down that’s what you brain is telling you if you’ve been stuck in that situation. There are situations your putting yourself through that is causing your anxiety flare up, think about what you do on a regular basis that is stressing you, it could be more than 1 thing. You need to avoid those situations for now so your brain can start to calm down because you’re stuck there and everything you do is most likely causing stress on your body which leads to anxiety. If you this you should start feeling a sign of relief in about a week or so. Then don’t make the mistake of doing too much once you start feeling a little better cause you can put yourself back in a state of anxiety. Take your time and let your body get back to normal. Along with Dans teachings you can avoid these situations. Trust me I’ve been there several times and I’ve learned from it.

      One more thing. Support from
friends and family by spending time with you can help tremendously cause that takes your mind off your symptoms, I know sometimes you just want to be alone and you don’t want to be too one but that doesn’t help engaging in communication with anybody physically not by telephone really helps, even going for walks with them. Hope this help, wishing you all the best and I know you will get out of this, I did, and I’ve been there many times in my life.
