My favorite renaissance lute composer
I always had been looking for what I thought was minstrel music. Similar to what you would hear around Henry VIII time but I was wrong it’s lute music I have been searching for. It’s so relaxing and brings me back to an era of kings and queens being entertained and having lavish dancing with the huge hoop skirts. People don’t realize how Rare music was during this era and backwards. You had to be a king just to employ a small group that could play this for you. Now I just turn on UA-cam and it’s free at my fingertips. It’s actually astonishing if you think about it.

August 24, 2022. Soothing music for these times, when pandemic changes everything. COVID-19. Monkey pox. A warming planet. Scary times, and music soothing for the soul. Our son, Francesco, and our grandson, Francesco, are on my mind a lot today, so this music is just right. They live in New York State; we live in Washington State. The USA is a very large country!
