- Here's what you can expect at the Santos Fat Tire Festival and similar mountain bike festivals across the country like Sedona Mountain Bike Festival
I personally had the opportunity to meet new friends from my channel, but anyone could go out to a big festival like this a gain several new riding buddies or even a club.
I also got to meet a pretty well know UA-camr in the MTB scene. MR. Tonka. Thanks for the sticker and being a down to earth guy. That’s Refreshing!
The best part of being at an event like this is when you overcome new obstacle because the amount of knowledge and skill at the trail. I don’t think I would have done this step down blindly or under many other circumstances but everything came together and worked perfectly. Thanks Pablo!!!
To sum it up, I think anyone who rides a bike should attend a Festival to experience it firsthand. And if you’re in Florida during the month of march and you love bikes. Come out to Ocala and the Santos Fat Tire festival to experience what makes Florida Mountain Biking Great!

Nice info, have made it to Santos a few times, never for the FTF, I think our first visit not knowing anything we actually showed up the weekend after and just missed it which was probably better as we were going to see the place we had heard about and to get to ride, but looks like it would be fun to attend, maybe next year. Nice riding hitting those drops.

I went yesterday morning. Wanted to miss all the traffic but still got a lot of it. First time at Santos and the FTF. Got some pov of some of the trails that I'll upload soon.

@@YourOwnAdventure I was a little shook up when I was commenting, I meant smoke detectors, talk about coincidence, it's recommended to check them when you change the clock, well I was dozing and mine went off I got up and had flames 3 ft high over the stove, mine is a down draft so I have wood cabinets over the stove. One of my girls walked by it and bumped it and the burner was on high caught paper towels, coffee maker, plastic, etc. Got a little tence. Anyway told the girls the Lord checked it since I didn't do it, I'll bet I don't have tell them to clean up around the stove again 😀 but that was what I meant instead of fire alarms. Now I got to go to work at 4am of all mornings. Sorry so long but I needed to tell that one.

You kind of skipped over the commercial side of the festival. Many manufacturers there to answer questions and talk about their products and riding in general. Most of them are from other parts of the country so they are happy to fill you in ln riding in their home areas. The other fun thing is riding demo bikes. If you are looking to upgrade there is no better place to go than a festival as you can test out many bikes back to back over the same trails over a few hours making it easy to compare.I didn't ride my own bike at all the whole day as I am in the market. I actually wish I had made it out for two days as I wasn't able to demo all the brands. This was my first time and won't be my last. Glad you enjoyed it also.
You're right, I could have covered the commercial side more in depth but I was thinking about sharing an experience on the personal level. Not really materialistic. What can be experienced outside of the sales and branding that can be assumed from a big festival of any kind. Glad you had a good time and I too, wish I had demo'ed some bikes but there is always next year! Thanks for watching \m/

I don't know how you got the reply I made about John, I was talking to someone else, I was checking to see if anything more was said about what we were talking about awhile ago and spotted the com. about John. At the time I was watching a John Hicks vid and someone commented that someone threw water balloons at him and he lost control of his bike and was in critical condition. I was talking to different people at once and couldn't keep up with who was who. Folks where asking about it. I just wanted to practice because I was mad. Somone came back and said they'd been on his social media page and couldn't find anything. I went back to the commenter and that SOB said it was just dark humer. Then I was pissed. I told him I had been to GMBN asking for prayers for John because of his a.. Anyway, I'm sorry you got left hanging about it. I swear, I'm good amite to quit reading comments 😀 By the way, I think that idea about the photos is a good one. Man I'm sorry for making you wast all this time, I know you're busy. Thanks Bro
