I realize this younger woman means well, but her remarks are somewhat ageist. Not all women need to travel with menstrual products. I'm 67...and I don't. Some women might have had their reproductive organs removed and this comment could be very triggering. It's not always a great idea to speak in swooping generalizations and know your audience. I understand she is trying to do good work and get sympathy but please.
