It has been rumored that Guy's martial arts master Zeku (a playable character in Street Fighter V) would eventually create the Striders ninja group, and that Hiryu here is actually a 3rd generation Strider. But I don't know how cannon any of this is.

On paper, this isn’t even a fair fight. Guy is my favorite Street Fighter character, but Hiryu outclasses him significantly. He has too many options, his gear alone is too powerful (robotic drones that shoot lasers, robotic panthers, robotic eagles, cypher blade cuts thru everything, etc), and he fights foes that Guy can’t compete with, let alone hurt. Even Hiryu’s physical capabilities (speed, most of all) would be too much for Guy.
