I enjoyed seeing all your WIPS! And absolutely love the fabric color you are stitching Farmhouse Christmas on. You are a delight to watch. Keep doing your Flosstube.
Hi Mel, I am one of your new subscribers from Sydney & was just over the moon to find an Aussie Flosstube channel. You are definitely very inspirational & have motivated me to get cracking on my projects. I'm relatively new to cross stitch & love that your hosting a SAL. I just need to find something with a pretty blue peacock 😉 Keep up the great work!
Love that you recycle packaging for floss drops. I also recycle packaging materials into bobbins (yes I continue to be a bobbinator 😊). I also turn them into floss cards especially for blended threads called-for in some charts. Lovely projects as always. Blue Stay safe Mel 💕
Wonderful finishes! I love the hexies on the back. I don't do it much anymore, but I do love EPP. Using packaging as flossdrops is a really good way to recycle/reuse. Hot days and blue skies here. You'll reach 2k in no time!
Can’t wait to see your finish on Prairie Romance. But so many other fun finishes in the mean time. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’ve seen a few peacock patterns in my travels. I may just have to go and purchase one and join your SAL! 😆 I’ve never been a fan of the term “haul” which I often use to describe my purchases. Happy mail is a bit nicer but I think I like your “Future Fun” even better. Might have to borrow that one. 😉 Take care, happy stitching and happy riding! 🐴❤️
What a fab idea for your thread drops, I'm definitely going to start doing that, I would love to see some BLUE skies instead of these grey rain filled clouds.
Ooh my goodness, that wee Lucky Ewe stitch is super cute, I have some very very blue fabric that I'm planning on stitch some Easter pieces on, have a fabulous weekend.
Hi Mel , I stitched the Joan Elliot Celtic wheel a few years ago I started in the middle and worked my way out just keep an eye on your pattern tho cause I ended up stitching one of the little peacock style thingies (you'll know what I mean hopefully :) ) the wrong way as and had to frog, love your projects and thank you for visiting my channel xx
Fab video as always 😊 congratulations on all your finishes. I too ran out of fancy floss half way through the Snowman’s village in the middle of lock down! I used dmc and it looks fine.
I'm all about recycling and reusing, I save all my yogurt pots, the small ones for planting seeds in and the larger ones I used when I make a batch of soup so I can portion to put in the freezer, I am definitely going to give this idea a go, I have a lot of pumpkins in my Fall decor but I don't have a bless one.... Yet😂😂😂😂
Hello Mel, Great video, I and my wife are big recycling fans and using food packaging as thread holders, I always use cereal boxes to write my shopping list on, we really need to take care of this blue planet of ours. Take care.
Well Hello there Mel, from a wet and soggy Ireland, But the weather dosen't make me blue, because thats why this gorgeous little island is so green.Great watching you, I had fun.
St patricks stitches are really lovely and being Irish I think I might have to stitch these, not much blue in our sky over here at the minute, wet and windy are the order of the day.
