I was ill one day last week so spent it binge watching the show. He’s got pigs now so maybe that’s an insight into what we could expect from another season.
Me too, spent my day off & watched the lot & was sad when it ended. Sadly I’ve read no series 2 as he has GT & Millionaire commitment till 2023.
Jeremy Clarkson just cannot be boring. Rare talent.
I think Jeremy has a friend for life. I loved the show, ordinary people are so much more interesting and entertaining. Kaleb is fantastic!

Yes some folk over do the organic vegan fair trade thing, after coming out of the tropical dome at he Eden Project I wanted a normal icecream, not a hena flavoured one in an organically grown hemp cone !

Clarkson himself said that his teachers said that either he would be popular entertainer or end up a criminal, truth is i think Clarkson would be a better teacher than most of the ignorant/ judgemental/pretentious ppl teaching in schools currently (worldwide)

I recently watched the show and it helped me understand the plight of the farmers alot. The situations arising due to global warming, the advantage of somebody with name & fame raising such questions, the importance of being connected to nature that may help you heal in endless ways.....
Loved the banters between Kaleb and Clarkson is an absolute love and hilarious. Watching the scenes where Jeremy seemed happy with his first cultivation, getting excited while being the mid wife to the ewes, got a little bit shaken after Wayne died..just showed that beneath that grumpy looking big man, there still lies a human 🙂

Coopers?...Ah, yes! I remember that Kaleb and Gerald share the same surname. There wasn't any mention that I can recall that they were related, but I did wonder if they were or whether 'Cooper' is a popular surname in that neck of the woods.

As an American, who worked on a veal farm one of my farming seasons, I am sad to admit, I think it's higher than 7%. Don't get me wrong, it's basically been a meme here for the 27 years I've been alive. However, the number of times I've face palmed taking to a girl, usually white, middle class, and completely clueless, who was COMPLETELY blown away that brown cows didn't make chocolate milk, is breath taking. Hell, a few of them have even tried to cuss me out for lying to them.
now that is just sad and pathetic, to think brown cow can somehow magically milks out chocolate material....
I refuse to believe its true. Those people must be trolling. World, in which people who had access to even the most basic elementary education and were not subject to some weird goverment experiment believe this brown cow thing, is not worth living in.

When they told the price of wool from all those sheeps in first season, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. That is seriously underpriced for all the work they put in.

Actually Caleb is focused on the realities of the farming world and not the trivialities of the modern big city life such as use of the proper pronouns. He knows how to keep machines running, The need for proper field preparation to maximize water use and minimized waste, the prices of everything related to farming and the costs thereof. Don't forget he has several other enterprises going all at the same time. It's sad to see that in the UK the arrogance of those who know Is nothing about the land or farming is is no different from the arrogance of American big city dwellers towards the farmers of the States. The reality is that people like Caleb are far more important to the functioning of society than someone who has Accrued a $200000 debt to get their liberal arts degree.
Plumbers, electricians, garbage man, farmers, machinists, Mechanics, Road and bridge builders, Construction workers carpenters, These are the people who truly keep society rolling on a day-to-day basis.
Respect is earned, that's why Jeremy and all of us love Khaleb.

These two are brilliant, the show is brilliant, really entertaining, and really highlights the complexity and hardships of farmers.
I really hope they get more seasons.
Clarkson is so good at this kind of amusing banter that made Top Gear and Grand Tour so popular. Now he has this farming show where the same formula is creating another classic. It is just relaxing to watch and really amusing at the same time, takes you out of yourself for an hour and that is what entertainment should be all about.
Clarkson knows how to do TV, he has developed his character for years and perfected it.

The all time highlight was when they were discussing what they should do next and kaleb says “we could grease up”, pause then guffaws all round, Loved it.

This is so awesome and unexpected because you’d never think jeremy would even talk to someone like Caleb..what do they have in common? Jeremy has been around the world has met so many famous assholes and yet they seem to have a closer relationship because of farming and his lack of knowledge of farming… Caleb is just himself, down-to-earth, funny and a good person… And I’m so happy jeremy and Caleb are friends.. I hope it’s not a superficial friendship… just for television..Or one of those love-hate relationships with Richard and Captain slow… But I wouldn’t believe that.
