I want a hobby room but it would be even more chaotic than yours. Love the whispered commentary. It's like you've recorded my inner thoughts. Have fun.
My suggestion is top-to-bottom, deeper-to-shallower. Clouds, mountain, town houses, dragon, minis in the craft area, cardboard off the floor, minis on the gaming table, shelves in hallway, busted printer. I definitely think you should so printer last, as it will only make even more things, which will then need attention; probably better to save that until all else is done
I like this idea. At the end of each video you can roll the die so that we know what the next one will be, but it also commits you to actually doing it, instead of rerolling for something else.
I had this problem last year, projects kept mounting up and I was getting nothing done, now I limit my myself to three projects at a time. I'd suggest making a project list with what's left to do on each one, then work you're way through them starting with the ones that only need one or two things doing to finish them.
Woo!! I love your mess zone!!! Is full of finished and unfinished treasures! Is so inspiring and the energy of that place is beautiful!! Mmmh.. thinking about your dilema, you can do a list of unfinished projects giving prefference to the d&d needed pieces and the short time projects too. In final position the long time needed ones. It's an idea... 🤷 The dragon looks nice! Thanks to share your video and your sancta sanctorum. See yaa!
I would create a job jar. Write down all the different projects you need to complete and then draw one from the jar and work on it until it's done. Then, The next product is whatever you want to do. Alternate between work that needs to be done, and work that you want to do.
I can't remember having seen your mini painting before. I'd be interested seeing what you do there. Other than that some quick and clever and beautiful scenery painting techniques that are weird and strikingly different from the norm would be nice. No pressure there though. 😀
What would we like to see ..... ? The top of your hobby table. Clean your room. Don't dilly dally. No seriously, the top of the hobby table would make a great wargaming surface. With the stuff caked on from all those builds I think it would just need a little "drybrush".
Myself i would go ;most urgent then smallest then most likely to get youtube views then see whats taking up the most room. either way i am sure it will be fun, thanks ian,
first: don't fix the printer. You've got enough minis. If you don't agree. start with the unfinished mini sets and put them together. Then group them into small batches. Paint one batch, then do something else like the mdf sunken city houses. then the next batch and after that the battle mat, next batch and so on.......and STOP PRINTING NEW MINIS!
Grab some friends. Each of you puts one project in a collective pool, you choose or randomly select one of the projects and work together on it. But be careful!!! In the process of working with friends, there might arise a Legion of new ideas... :D
@@WeltenbauerClub That just sounds like an opportunity to get together on a fairly regular basis to help each other out with your backlogs :) Like a gaming night ;)
At first, I would like to see a little bit more of cleaning and bringing order to these rooms. When this is all done, some of the overwhelm by to many projects will disapeare as by itself.
Not my business, but are you neuro divergent? Your editing feels like a trip in a beautifully weird, chaotic mind. I wouldn't ask, but I love content creators that do stuff that I love and faced similar challenges that I have. Edit: do you live in Germany? Because I do.

tomorrow a friend comes over to help me fixing the printer 🙈
Nooooo! Wrong way 'round 😅 I hope you get it fixed, with no problems 🤞
make a numbered list and roll a die. Grüße von der Elbe aus Magdeburg! :)
Random crafting encounter table. Yeah 😅

First! Do you hear those whispers all day?
no. yes. what?
That curtain reveal was insane!!!!
Thanks

Some see treasure. Some see chaos 😅
My entire house is like that, but not as organized.
😅

Like getting a laser cutter? 😅
Overwhelming!!!
Start small…. Finish one figure. Just one 😊
😅👍
Do as the most of us: start something new! :)
😂
This is extremely relatable 😅
☺️
I'd love to get a closer look at your mini painting methods - don't think we've seen those before 👀
never showed mini painting. might do that
Simple solution: Hire us :p
Then everything would be made from metal and lazers. Kool 😊
@@WeltenbauerClub Naaaaw I make models from plastic and sculpey as well :p

Yes. Thought of that. 😊
Personally Id start with the gaming mat, moving onto terrain for the mat. I find that getting scenes finished motivates me to populate them 🤣
So you come over and do the mat
@@WeltenbauerClub 🤣
First, fix 3D printer to print minis. Second, display cabinets for the new minis printed. 😄
😅

Paint the backdrop!

Start by throwing out all the stuff you no longer want. Then start painting the items that require the least amount of work to finish them
I guess it is time to say goodbye to some stuff

@@lucycannon6732 we sometimes do mini painting session. not often enough i guess 😅
I think you should just roll 1d4 and start working on whatever is in that corner of your room.

Clearly you should start a new project. I mean, that's what I'd do.
