With the Starizona Apex flattener reducer you can image at F/4.16! that's awesome! I want to get one for my ED80 (and maybe later get an Ed120!!). Great pics, clear skies
Yep I know! I'd heard of starizona before but only for their hyperstar range, didn't realise they did refractors as well! Do you have the Skywatcher reducer or image at F7.5 at the moment? Most of my images are with my ED80 without a reducer :)
@@prettyaverageastro7409 Currently I have an skywatcher ED80 that I use with its 0.85x flattener, I also have a 1x generic flattener. Even without the flattener, using a small sensor this refractor is still usable imo. But you've got a great setup! Let us know what you achieve with it. Cheers!
Hi! Great video!! I noticed you mounted the evoguide to the evolux handle accessory. I’m trying to do the same though I am having issues finding the correct size bolt that will fit into the slide gap on the handle. I’m curious what size bolt did you use. Thank you and looking forward to more content!
Hi Eacron! Apologies I never replied mate. I'm not sure what size they were, I think they were left over from another piece of equipment. I'd take the handle to Bunnings and just find the M sized bolt through trial an error. I'm sure you've done something similar already! Thanks again for the message and taking the time to reach out.
Good night, nice setup. Evolux 82ED in a few months can you do a review? Regarding the ultimate L filter, is it a good filter or has everything to be. But even what I've seen and read still have some edges to polish in terms of halos. Regarding the OSC 533MC Pro, I can't hide I'm a fan of this sensor (I have both versions). For what you pay and receive in exchange for the camera it is an excellent camera. Regarding framing, there are only two options: strange and you end up liking it or you end up hating it, and you change right away for a 294MC Pro or 2600 MC PRO. You have an excellent review of the 533MC Pro by astrographer DSO Imager or AstroFarsography among others. Big hug I'll follow your route on your channel with this Evolux 82 ED.
Hi Tiago, thanks very much for the message. Yes I plan on doing a more thorough review in a few months. Unfortunately I've run into some guiding issues when I started to test the filter and 533MC. I think it's an excellent camera and perfect FOV for my setup. I was meant to release a video a while ago but because of the guiding issues and weather it has set me back. I've just started unguided imaging in the meantime and the results from the filter and camera look excellent so far :)
nice work my friend you have a new subscriber and welcome 👊👍 to this fun hobby 😊
Cheers mate! 😄
Super result bud, that setup is working great for you! Cheers for the mention BTW, and clear skies! :-)
Great review mate, looking forward to future vids

but...an info. the base of the handle is Vixen?
Yes Vixen. It will fit into standard finder shoe brackets as well.
