I was excited when the lore video of this series was announced, and now I’d love to see more of how this story continues in the future. I’m glad that Eddie has a partner alongside him because I felt it would’ve been nice for him to travel with someone or with a crew he developed on his journey. I do have a few questions I’ve thought about after the video: 1- How did Eddie become known as “The Revolver”? 2- With the revolver, is it made to where the personalities can switch whenever they want to, or does it have limited use by them needing certain gunpower to switch? 3- What are metahumans in this story?
1. His revolver is one of a kind and extremely powerful, and it's the only constant between the personalities that they are very good at using it 2. They can only switch when the gun fires, and it goes in a set cycle (Eddie to Abel to Dallas to Gideon to Barnaby to Ellie to Eddie again) 3. Metahumans, or "Vulcanized" are humans with special powers that were created through a special material on Shard. The main ones in this world is Eddie and the Everymen, who were the main fighting force of the resistance during the war, of which Ricochet was a part of
does Ellie struggle with any body insecurity/dysphoria on account of sharing Eddie’s body? That sounds like it’d create an interesting dynamic between her and the other alters, are they able to communicate with eachother inside Eddie’s mind or do they need to write notes while they’re in control? Good to see your other works btw! I like the variety
Thank you! Ellie definitely doesn't feel right in Eddie's body, which is why she relies on her illusions so much. They also need to write notes for each other, as they cannot talk to each other.

If I had a nickel for every gunner who had multiple personalities, I would have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice. The other one is Mista/Sex Pistols from Golden Wind. Sex Pistols is an extension/is Mista, so I count it.
I don't know much about these characters yet, but I think Ellie and Dr Gideon are my favorites. -How aware is each personality of what the others are doing? -Do all guns cause a personality shift? If not, what's stopping them from using another type of gun or weapon to have control for as long as they need? -What's Dr Gideon's religion about?
-When one alter takes control, the others have no idea what they are doing. They only really know what the other alters did through sticky notes they leave behind for each other, or just looking at the general aftermath of their actions -Only the special revolver they have causes the personality shift, but they Foreman placed a bomb in their spinal cord that will go off if they are separated from the gun for too long. They do try to use their abilities and other weapons to fight for as long as possible without switching, but since the gun is extremely powerful and they were trained to use it, they often have to fire it as a last resort in a fight -Dr Gideon is Catholic, and has a lot of feelings about it. Specifically he's unsure if his soul is even saved or not, given he's just the product of a mental illness/government experiment

I could see one of them getting into trouble, and then using the gun to purposely rotate to a personality with better skills for said trouble. Actually, that sounds like it was probably the point of the experiment… 0:39 The personality-rotating gun almost looks like it could be an exotic energy weapon made by Tex Machanica in Destiny 2. I.e., it looks mystical and cool.

Plus, the gun usually goes off when he's fighting/in the heat of the moment, so usually he doesn't have enough time to do that kind of thing in the moment, and being deaf at all times is very disadvantageous (especially when multiple of the alters are wanted and try and hunt down Eddie)

Pretty much, lol. But it was more that they lost the war because the other side had people who could shoot fire from their hands, and they lost before they could send their counter measure (Eddie) into the fray to combat them
I haven't seen a split personality story in a while. But do all of them know how to use a revolver? Or is it like each of them have their own prefer weapon of choice. And I'm curious what that medicine. can't wait to see in action. 🙂

The alters have backstories that they believe are true. For example, Barnaby talks about his Mama Pyatkov a lot, but she doesn't actually exist

Yes, gunshots is his trigger. Also he is human, Shard was colonized by the human empire to harvest a special type of gunpowder for weapons
