Hello Heart PiratesTCG, thank you for trying to analyze my T16 game against kata and all the work you put into this. After watching the video it feels like you had more questions than answers about my playstyle against yellow/kata. That's probably why yellow can win majors in the US and never has and never will win a major in Europe. Most of the top players here fiqured it out although this guy catched many offguard with his crazy list. Some additional information about the game so some open questions might be answered: - Decklists were open knowledge on day 2. After my T32 match I studied his list beforehand. - This kata list was beyond crazy and every trigger unpredicatable. That's why he got to top cut in the first place. - in Europe we play every major with top cut. Top cut requires a very different playstyle including time management. - I knew from the beginning of the match that it will go to OT and I made him go turn zero intentionally. - Judges made two major mistakes in this match. - Kata matchup is all about board, life doesn't matter at all. - Amaru could've killed me many times if I played Geko instead of what I did. Rebecca/Sabo loop is all you need. - I had no doubt about loosing this match at any point since I was the higher seat. Game 3 is always in my favor then. Hi there. Congrats on your success. Very impressive! I understand how to play against katakuri. But without perfect knowledge of what’s in your hand and without knowledge of deck list it’s tough to anticipate what is coming. So the best I can do is breakdown board state. Which I believe I’ve been doing a good job doing.
At min 44, i think lucci should use rebeca + grab spandine, revive califa, minus big mom and kill with finger pistol, he could keep the califa 2k and put a bloquer on the field
