The Maahir Black one is really underrated. It smells amazing in the air, very long lasting and no synthetic or screetchy thing at all.
I agree. Picked that one up this year! After seeing reviews of it, I was concerned it would be too strong or dark but I find it very wearable. I liked it so much, I got the other one (gold and clear bottle). The scent DNA is very similar but it's not as smoky. I see the black as a Fall and Winter and the gold as a Spring and Summer version. Love the bottle and it makes an impressive gift!

I did the gent scents promotion with the 9 AM Dive ,excellent fragrance,the Maaher is an excellent presentation with the box,the bottle and atomizer The Maaher scent is excellent as well ,quite different with a fresh citrus opening fragrance that isn’t quite exactly like anything but like a few other fragrances.The vetiver and oak moss base is strongest in my opinion.

I’m trying to get two bottles of rasasi hawas. i’m on my second bottle. That’s how amazing it is. I love that fragrance so much. It’s my favorite. can’t wait until the weather is warm I’ll be rocking that bad boy. compliment get her for sure.
What is more important, knowing what is getting cloned, or knowing it’s a great smelling fragrance?
Try Maahir Black Edition. A nice dark fragrance, inspired from Ebene Fume a little bit, imo.
Not horrible looking, but of course it looks like something else. It looks exactly like Penhaligon's something something about Lord George, but instead of a deer, a horse head, then dna twisted like Laconme's Hypnose, and then chromed like Club de Nuit Sillage, but without the stripes. So exactly like all that ;)

I own Legacy and Sedley. The openings are very close. Legacy stays linear though, so it keeps close to the opening the whole way through. If the drydown of Sedley is what you want, then it's not going to work for you.
How the LONGEVITY AND PROJECTION for you??😮
For me the opening is not that similar and the dry down gets closer

@@guccibr9013 it’s 99.9% spot on. But only in the drydown. The opening is very citrusy. I have a sample of sedley and I heard about legacy so I had to get it and it’s pretty much identical no bs

It's not spot on at all, id say its more like percival.
Some lattafa fregs are not clones, but reviewers will try & compare them with similar fregs . Legacy is a unique scent , like any freg out there it shares notes with other fregs

Ash, have you looked into Maahir Black? It's supposed to be similar to stuff like Black Afgano and Orto Parisi's Terroni or Boccanera. I'm pretty curious as I tried Boccanera and really loved it.

Great review Ash! I just got Lattafa Maahir Legacy and I like it a lot. But I did also just receive Carnival De Dua and Jamaican Sweet Tabacum from Dua is both are next level great. I can't even describe in any words that would do justice for how great they both smell 😄To be up front with you and everyone who sees this comment, everything I 've ever got from Samy Andraus and Dua are absolutely incredible.

Just received my lattafa maahir legacy today, not smelled Sedley before so complete blind buy.I get a lot of the lime and mint in the opening, the dry down reminds me of the new ADG parfum.
what about the Longevity and Projection of Maahir Legacy? Can you please share your experience with it?

Lattafa will usually clone a single house for each series eg. Emir Manceras. So if Maahir Legacy smells like a PDM Sedley (some say), the rest would be clones of PDMs also. This isn't the case! Another poster pointed to Maahir Legacy being similar to Sora Dora Gladiator. I think this is plausible. Opinions anyone?

i got maahir legacy and i love the smell but when i put it on my skin i swear it smelled like cigarettes, love the smell when i spray it but on my skin it doesnt do well lol.

I get the citrus when I 1st spray it on, but then I never get it after. After it sits a few weeks will this note pop more? It seems to be missing this note in the dry down and certainly would enhance the scent.
Are these summer scents?
The horse, along with the "smells similar to" comparisons, leads me to think it may be a Percival clone? Idk. Seems like it.

How is Hawas? My first time buying. I hope its not too sweet. For example people say YSL Y EDP can be sweet, its not bad for me but any sweeter is a no go for me.
Hawas is an incredible blue style frag. versatility and performance and value
for me day time banger in spring, summer and even fall. my secret weapon
top 10 or 15 frag for me off all time, 35 years in the game

Does anybody else get Jimmy Choo Man Aqua? I bought it cause I was told it smells like PDM Sedley. I do see the comparison, but after initial spray I do smell JCM Aqua.
I wanted it but being an edt and all and after reading reviews, I didn't want to spend money on a cologne ud havevto constantly reapply since it's longevity miniscule. Great scent though. Wish they could make it as a edp
Got my bottle and 9am dive the other day.. The maahir legacy reminds me of a 80s-90s men's cologne on the mid into the dry down. Dry down is wierd to me. It had a boosy smell to me. Like if you smelt a jack and Coke after it sat out and got warm

@@Rexy_boss which one? The 9am dive is a solid 7-8 hours for me. The maaher legacy, I don't know yet. I've only had it on around the house for a few hours before either showering or going to bed. It's cold here yet. So I'm waiting for it to warm up to see how it doesn't since everyone is saying it's a summer fragrance

The first thing it reminded me of was sora dora gladiator ! And I looked up the notes and majority of both fragrances have the same notes !!! Lol lol lol

I've got Maahir Black and that fragrance is unwearable , literally smells like burnt flowers.

i tried it and could not tell if i love it or hate it. Its defenetely special though
I got it, hated it at first. But if you can get through the first 10 minutes it turns into something very interesting. Definitely not a blind buy, but the Smoky warm sweetness it turns into is very unique.
Maybe they have some batch variations, cause mine smells amazing and I don't even like sweet leather fragrances.
