The view up into orbit, seeing those hundreds of missiles coming down or the orange glowing rounds slowly growing in size and brightness must be terrifying for the crew of those ships !
That one ship that took one of those main orbital cannon shots that the game was like "Yeah, we're not bothering calculating that, the ship has been deleted"
so it needs boosters to negate the huge recoil of the Planetary Gun insane creation what a beast! the explosion testify the 1 shot strength of the weapon.
Even when running on the backups it can handle the recoil but its going to move a few dozen meters back. For long term stay in orbit I don't want its trigger happy shooting of NPC ships to cause significant drift hence the drives. Also, it just makes it more practical to move around, it is essentially 3/4 of a ship and due to its range its useful to haul it around when you want to move areas
@@mobiuscoreindustries This creation is just too perfect to take a role as a Mobile Support/Siege Gun Platform, the recoil thing is a sight to behold to me and its range is mind-boggling but unfortunately, this isn't tuned for survival gameplay but i do hope u post this creation on the workshop.
@@nikkotan2840 Well its survival cappable, but the kingsword ammo is just ridiculously expensive to make. At this point its less expensive to carpet the entire area with guided missiles than it is to fire a single shot, however that one shot is all it takes if it hits. I will post all of my stuff on the workshop once the script used for them becomes public
A LOT. These are 1 500mm tungsten-cluster railgun rounds. Their travel velocity is 2000m/s. To give you an idea in a previous test I used one on a 1/1 scale american supercarrier, the hole blown in it was immense but what killed it was being punted into the sea floor at 600m/s
@@mobiuscoreindustries Holy shit that’s awesome! Do you think you could ever upload a video of the carriers destruction? Also ps where can I find the mod that has the twin mini gun turret facing the rear of the ship from
what makes them particularly deadly is the whole expanding cone of shrapnel that sprays out after the initial hit. its like having 100 railguns go off at roughly a 20 degree angle point blank
"...And THAT, Mr. President, is why we need a Space Force."
@bruh that's exactly Skunk Works 🦨

Ooh, a Space Engineers video in my recommended feed, looks like a huge explosion in the thumbnail- oh. It's Overwerk. Of course.

Just not of those not even hitting those ships would wipe out that fleet with the resulting tidal wave.
I feel like this is what would happen if aliens wanted to invade Earth. Great work!
now reverse it, make the missiles come from every point on earth and make them cluster nukes. they have no chance
This video was so epic I can barely wrap my mind around it! BRAVO!!!

@@mobiuscoreindustries I call that a Win-Win scenario. The price is justified by the strength and firepower of its warhead.
Honey wake up, MCI released a new video
Thanks for the mod list!
Nice Video as always
artemis/Lg is just so goddamn fun
Is this "Artemis" script public? Cant find any script called that on the workshop!
It is not yet.
it is curently part of an opt-in alpha program, for people with experience with other guided missile programs
how are you seeing grids super far away? like what mod do you use to get those zooms?
🧐Oh that star look brig….💀
What kinda power does the orange rounds have behind them!?
A LOT.
