I didnt know half life 1 was just a relaxing tram ride back and forth for 20 hours what pleasant and relaxing game.
Ngl didn't expect a Dr who reference snuck in
I can't believe I lived half my life without having watched your videos!
I thought Eli and Kleiner were the 2 scientists you meet after coming up from the resonance cascade. And the nerd you meet at lambda is just another random dude.
was not expecting the projekt melody and science team referenced, nice.
4:12 surprise guest Melody
YES!!! HALF LIFE BABYYYYY!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOO!!!
i actually never understood the HL1 story until now. thanks, and i ve always wondered what the "G" stands for
Oooooo I can't wait for the sequel, Second Life!
My instinct is always to skip ads, but never for Internet Historian. Man should charge triple for his ads.
Im realizing I miss the "one take im busy" line at the start of each episode
Beyond the memes, this is actually educating the next generation on the lore of iconic games that the previous generation grew up with. lol.
I never thought I'd see the day HL would be reviewed (expleened?) in this channel.
Way to go. Here's hoping the Ace Combat series gets your attention too.
1:35 When Oblivion came out, I was way too young to be playing it. Getting out of the prison dungeon was terrifying and the one lich enemy that popped up would make me shit my pants.
I stayed in Imperial City and did the area questline, then I would put the game down and restart it later. Fuck leaving the city limits. It’s scary out there.
I completely understand.
I was very young when I first played this game and I could never get through the train ride most of the time cos it felt SOOO LONG. When I did get through, I got too spooked with the aliens appearing that I never played again 😂
This is actually a genius game mechanic. Kids are really impatient and most of them would turn the game off out of boredom , avoiding getting traumatized by the scary aliens.
I appreciate how the real talent behind these vids, the editor, uses dem FF7 sound effects at every opportunity.
4:15 projekt melody lmao
Deaf = hearing, Mute = speaking
I can’t believe Freedman’s Mind took so long to beat this game. You guys made it look easy!
Man I loved that series, I even watched Sheppard's mind too
Bro i used to watch my brother playing through half life back in the day, the graphics look so real at the time and i got traumatized by the vent pull scene yet still watch it all since it's pretty fun watching my bro play it.
I will never stop saying Half-Life is one of the greateat games because of new content talking about it either it be videos like this or memes.
the hd models hurt my eyes
DUUUUDE I also used to replay the tram section because I was scared 🤣
This is the expleenation we’ve all been waiting for!
