I'm not into Vtubers at all, but I love the technology behind it. The fact that you can be a UA-cam/Twitch streamer without actually having to show your face. And then with a voice changer, without having to show your voice either, so you're totally anonymous. And in the future, there'll probably be 100% realistic human models and voice changers, so everyone would think it was a real person, when you're actually completely anonymous.
I mean, VShojo is full of perverted girls, the only exceptions to that being Froot (and even she slips up at times) and Zen (who is very much on the receiving end of it anyways due to her chat and friends). So... I don't think that question was off lol.

Watching Nyanners is a journey. You never know if she'll lull you to sleep, make you cry with her singing, give you an "Ara ara" bones, or make you laugh yourself sick. Frequently its all of that at one time.
Ironmouse's testimony has completely changed my perspective on Vtubers. Sometimes I felt like vtubers are just liars who take advantage of animephilia.... but damn... her story has COMPLETELY changed my mind. Props to this new technology allowing anyone with struggles to feel like themselves!!!

A bunch of vtubers weren't able to get verified on UA-cam and/or Twitter for some reason or other that's eluding me right now. I haven't thought about this at all since then so I really don't know what the details were offhand or whether anything ever even changed about what was preventing it at the time.
Shoto was the one that introduced me to Vtubers, he was my first and him just being supportive to everyone, his friends and vtubers I got to know other and I'm so thankful, I always heard the title but never checked it out, now I love them and I love Shoto so much, will always be thankful to him

In a few years, virtual reality will be so normal and instinctual, that we will laugh at the people in this time for finding virtual reality cringe or feel repulsiveness by it. Historically it’s always the same; the distain and hate for abolishing slavery is to us now something to mock at, so will this time(2020) be mocked at, because we didn’t embrace vtubers unlike the next generations who will instinctively.

Ironmouse is probably my favorite vtuber. She brings me such joy. One day she's going to get to meet her big brother Monkee and it's going to break me.
Ironmouse saying "what a world we live in" at 8:48 broke me. I realized that I was watching a man talk to a virtual character through a screen propped up on a chair and that he was also listing to her directly using a device in his ear that connects without touch. To top it off, I was watching all of this unfold through a machine that could access a network that I can't even begin to comprehend. Overall, 10/10 would hurt my brain thinking about reality again.

There was a vid from last year where she broke down crying because she asked people to donate money to “improve her workspace” but the chat pestered her into revealing she meant buying a new medical bed that would let her sit up better to stream and they blew up her goal in under 10 minutes. Something similar happened on her birthday charity stream last week. She’s a tsundere but very sweet and endearingly shy on occasion. For all the wonderfully lewd and funny comments they make all the Vshojo girls are very wholesome at heart.

Yeah... Poor thing has to get blood infusions every few months or so and it's massively expensive as well. At one point she was living from stream to stream and had people donate insane amounts to her to help her actually LIVE - And IMO she's never taken it or anyone around her for granted. I'm not a weeb, I don't watch anime at all really, I play madden and 2k and I dunno what my point is, but I love these girls. It's pretty simple - life is really hard and even harder when you try to go it alone. They make content that makes you smile, and they all seem like sweet people. Enjoy what you makes you happy, and let people hate if they want. I'm really happy for them that they found a thing that makes them happy.
That's all it's about, yeah? All we're here for is to live and then eventually die, we gotta try and squeeze out happiness on the way. These people are just trying to be happy while also making others happy, and I love that for them.
I made the point on there stream a while back that most of us rpg gamers love to create and play characters that is a vision of our mood. So I understand what they are doing.

I love fantasy type things and have always wanted to learn to draw characters and things but I have never really tried to learn but I think being a vtuber would be cool because technically you can be anyone or anything you want to be and you don’t even need to make the model yourself. You get to commission people to do that for you. I think it’s amazing.

Dunno if Mousey or Zen have ever posted irl photos, but Nyanners actually streamed with a camera and had a lot of photos on her instagram before being a vtuber. In fact, just by googling Nyanners you're likely to get some of those photos in the first page. It's an open secret at this point.

Ironmouse is probably my favorite vtuber. She brings me such joy. One day she's going to get to meet her big brother Monkee and it's going to break me.

I realized that I was watching a man talk to a virtual character through a screen propped up on a chair and that he was also listing to her directly using a device in his ear that connects without touch. To top it off, I was watching all of this unfold through a machine that could access a network that I can't even begin to comprehend.
Overall, 10/10 would hurt my brain thinking about reality again.

There was a vid from last year where she broke down crying because she asked people to donate money to “improve her workspace” but the chat pestered her into revealing she meant buying a new medical bed that would let her sit up better to stream and they blew up her goal in under 10 minutes. Something similar happened on her birthday charity stream last week. She’s a tsundere but very sweet and endearingly shy on occasion. For all the wonderfully lewd and funny comments they make all the Vshojo girls are very wholesome at heart.

Yeah... Poor thing has to get blood infusions every few months or so and it's massively expensive as well. At one point she was living from stream to stream and had people donate insane amounts to her to help her actually LIVE - And IMO she's never taken it or anyone around her for granted. I'm not a weeb, I don't watch anime at all really, I play madden and 2k and I dunno what my point is, but I love these girls. It's pretty simple - life is really hard and even harder when you try to go it alone. They make content that makes you smile, and they all seem like sweet people. Enjoy what you makes you happy, and let people hate if they want. I'm really happy for them that they found a thing that makes them happy.

I love fantasy type things and have always wanted to learn to draw characters and things but I have never really tried to learn but I think being a vtuber would be cool because technically you can be anyone or anything you want to be and you don’t even need to make the model yourself. You get to commission people to do that for you. I think it’s amazing.

Media happened man. You know about the accident of that Japanese girl vtubers turns out to be an middle-aged man? Many got bamboozled sure, but from what I see, he got plenty of supports in Japan and by the community. Sadly, it was western media that blow it up rather negatively.

Dunno if Mousey or Zen have ever posted irl photos, but Nyanners actually streamed with a camera and had a lot of photos on her instagram before being a vtuber.
In fact, just by googling Nyanners you're likely to get some of those photos in the first page.
