I'm not into Vtubers at all, but I love the technology behind it. The fact that you can be a UA-cam/Twitch streamer without actually having to show your face. And then with a voice changer, without having to show your voice either, so you're totally anonymous. And in the future, there'll probably be 100% realistic human models and voice changers, so everyone would think it was a real person, when you're actually completely anonymous.
Honestly that would be scary as hell. Impersonation would be a huge problem

In a few years, virtual reality will be so normal and instinctual, that we will laugh at the people in this time for finding virtual reality cringe or feel repulsiveness by it. Historically it’s always the same; the distain and hate for abolishing slavery is to us now something to mock at, so will this time(2020) be mocked at, because we didn’t embrace vtubers unlike the next generations who will instinctively.

But rather the entertaining factor of itself, like Nyanners said people look into vtubers to escape from current situations and just have fun, it’s the same reason why people watch PewDiePie, KSI, etc., and all of them we’re previously seen as only UA-camrs and nothing else, but over the years they became normal and mainstream. Logically VTubers would become mainstream as well sooner or later, but saying that it’s instinctive and similar to how back in the days abolishing slavery is frowned upon is just stupid.

I love fantasy type things and have always wanted to learn to draw characters and things but I have never really tried to learn but I think being a vtuber would be cool because technically you can be anyone or anything you want to be and you don’t even need to make the model yourself. You get to commission people to do that for you. I think it’s amazing.

Hey there! I know I’m terribly late, but the reason why theres jiggling is because in Live2D, theres a section called ‘model physics/scene blending’ something like that, i use the “free version with limited features”(thats litterally what they call it), so if anything is different let me know, but anyways, if you click on the button, you can see the physics of the character, here are some of the physic presets, hair short, hair medium, hair long, clothes heavy, clothes light/soft, bust small, and bust big, so THATS what i *THINK* is going on here
It's so funny seeing Anthony react to IronMouse, I feel like most people in the vtuber world know her/look up to her so it's fun to see someone so caught off guard by her antics.
Anthony seemed like he was genuinely having such a fun time in this episode it was contagious and difficult not to feel better after watching this.

I don’t watch vtubers except for ironmouse really. She’s just very relatable as I myself deal with an autoimmune disease where I found a lot of my youth bedridden.
I’m 21 now and I just now am trying to get those years back by going outside and playing the sports I’ve always wanted to play and the lifting the weights I’ve always wanted to lift. You know my dreams of being an athlete when I was younger. It’s hard sometimes still but I keep pushing on.
A lot of people see me today and see me as healthy. The people I lift weights with and play basketball with. I may look like that on the outside but people don’t really have any idea how low I’ve started from physically and how much harder it is for me to just function and keep up with my friends as I hang out with them.
Hence why I enjoy watching ironmouse because she’s very relatable. She found something that helps her keep pushing on despite the obstacles that life has put before her. So good on her and best of luck to everyone else who is dealing with something similar.

I think one of the advantages of being a vtuber is the puppetry behind it as well. With a live person you're kinda stuck just looking at them sitting in their room. The avatars allow for a lot more creativity and meme potential. Sakura Miko is a great example of this, where in certain games she'll take her avatar and put it in the seat of a vehicle she's driving. When the person behind the avatar is creative, it's more than just replacing your face with a character.
This was wholesome and it will probably be listed as one of the top vids to have the most swearing.

A bunch of vtubers weren't able to get verified on UA-cam and/or Twitter for some reason or other that's eluding me right now. I haven't thought about this at all since then so I really don't know what the details were offhand or whether anything ever even changed about what was preventing it at the time.

I feel like people who want VTuber face reveals kinda miss the point of being a VTuber. They're just normal people playing a character. It's like Saki Fujita is the voice of Hatsune Miku, but you don't see people obsessing over her, they obsess of Miku.
Honestly to me being a VTuber is the best way to gain a healthy parasocial relationship, because aware or not you're probably going to develop one with whatever content creator you watch because that's just how the human brain works. But with VTubers you aren't putting that pseudo relationship on a real person, just a character played by a real person (or at least that's how you should view VTubers, some people cannot separate fantasy from reality and decide to be weird to the actresses themselves)
idk if sequel or part 2 interviews were done before in this channel but I'd love to see one for this, whether it's with the same ones or different vtubers. although I did hear about vtubers before, I only joined the vtuber fandom scene this year and I learned/heard about other info. examples include me not knowing that indie vs corpo vtubers are a thing as I thought most or all were indie, what agencies look for specifically, how expensive models are, advice for aspiring vtubers, how much is actually earned indie vs corpo, other behind the scenes stuff with agencies of the corpo side, how being a vtuber has helped them be more outgoing and confident as time passed (Akuma Nihmune's journey and Nyanners doing an irl stream recently are examples), and more.
I never understood the whole "That vtuber is probably a guy with a voice changer" idea; is the idea that a real girl is streaming really that unrealistic to those people?
It could be World of Warcraft gamers who encountered G.I.R.L.(guy in real life) and just think that they are everywhere.

The hardest thing with vtubers is that once you get even semi attached to one of them, you’ve already fallen down the rabbit hole, then all of a sudden your whole recommended is just vtuber clips. Well, that’s actually the second hardest thing.
