    I like how transparent you are. A lot of people (including myself) would be scared of admitting they jumped the gun with a goal. But you know what they say, if you fail, change the plan, not the goal. You can do this ✨

    Whatever happens with your project(s), this diary of yours shows you are very good at storytelling, which might bring you far on youtube!

    I can help you crack the code for videofyles audience. Most of the creators you want to reach are the ones worried about video quality (semi-professionals) and people who make big form content (podcast, long vlogs) because those are the ones that might be worried with the problem you're solving, (size is too big to upload). Just throwing an idea, let me know if it helped!

      Ah nice Ismael, super valid points. Haven't thought about the segment of "big form" content yet, really good idea.
      Semi-professionals i had in mind as well, just not fully sure yet how to reach this group in a targeted way

    Ludwig did you used open source library for text/banner/subtitle creator product that you used in this video?

    • @StartupGodsDontRespond
      @StartupGodsDontRespond  3 місяці тому

      It's built into Flowtapes, it's using the ASS subtitle format under the hood!

      @@StartupGodsDontRespond i mean did you wrote it from scratch or used a open source library?

    • @StartupGodsDontRespond
      @StartupGodsDontRespond  3 місяці тому

      @@Elzelgator Well, with the ASS format you create a file that contains the subtitles for the entire video and their styling like position, font size etc.
      And then you apply the ass file with ffmpeg which renders the subtitles on the video.
      So the ASS format is an existing way to define subtitles but there's still a bit of code needed to create the file with all the definitions

    let's go! I hope you get the cash you need from the business, but if you don't, freelancing would be a great opportunity for you, as you're a talented coder and you understand how to market yourself. if you really need the money, that could be a great fix in the short term.
    as a said note: I think bringing back flow tapes is the correct decision. It's a super cool tool and has a lot of potential, if it works really well. You could market it to like universities, or organizations that do a lot of presentations and need them edited a bit. Your program would fix a lot of their problems, i think, mainly not having to hire anyone to edit the video, as they are probably easy to edit and flow tapes would be able to do it.
    just a thought. Keep going!
