@@parafox3829 sea monster origins, why do they transform, Alberto's past, what's Luca been learning, other hidden sea monsters on land (maybe at the school), love triangles, future selves, hunters from other countries looking for sea monsters, evil scientist, many possibilities. Ugo. But, i think most of us just want Luca and Alberto reunited.

The little animations were so cute! Just wondering, can the green beans be put in the water later so the green beans don't get over cooked?
The green beans have the same cooking time of the potatoes. Buy Is important to cut the potatoes in dices and out them in cold water. Enjoy! And trust me, I'm from the "sixth-land": Portovenere (the must wonderful place in the world, imho!! 😄)
And it's incredibly 100% correct! Impressive!
Especially when he used Parmigiano Reggiano and not the ripoff fake "parmesan" versions (which have nothing to do with the real thing!)
Just a note since he didn't specify it: the pecorino cheese used is "pecorino sardo", not "pecorino romano". They are not the same sheep cheese (for texture and taste).
And try to use mortar and pestle (hence the name "pesto") because you will squeeze the juice from the basil leaves and the sauce will be more juicy and fluid. With a blender it will not happen.
The director of Luca is Genovese, of course the recipe is correct.
@@Astronometric Yes, but it's still an US company. Hence my surprise if an Italian dish is actually made as it's supposed to be.
I couldn't find pecorino sardo at the local grocer. At least, I think I couldn't (been a few weeks since), and had to settle for the latter. Same for the pasta; since there was no trenette, I used fettucine as a substitute. There was no mortar and pestle available, so a food processor had to be used. I doubled the al pesto to make the results more creamy. Still, it turned out excellent and everyone who sampled it was very pleased. :)

Since steam is evaporated hot water, when it touches you, you actually get wet from it. That’s why it was able to transform him, because he got wet whenever it touched him. 🙂

I made this not too long ago and it was FANTASTIC! Nobody else in the house wanted any though so I got lucky and was able to have three leftover dinners with it!

I made this recipe! I don't have a mortar, I used a Nutribullet instead. I was also unable to find any trenette, so I just used spaghetti. It's still very tasty, and I wasn't a fan of pesto pasta until now!

Try with linguine next time. They're almost identical to trenette and still larger than spaghetti.

I tried this recipe, but since there was no local grocer with trenette pasta available, I settled for fettucine as a substitute, since it's close enough to trenette. I doubled the al pesto to make it extra creamy, and the results were absolutely wonderful. Thank you for sharing this delightful recipe straight from the sources. While there are many varieties of preparing pasta and so forth, it's good to have an official Disney/Pixar recipe presented, and with satisfying results.
