Anyone that says belly dancers need to look this way or that... can kiss all our butts. I LOVE belly dancing because you can be ANY shape. Stick thin or sassy and curvaceous.
WOW! You ladies are just way different from the normal traditional dancing. Great music. I would never expect such beauty and gracefullness. I'm about to give up because I'm not the normal dancer and feel left out because of my age.I have a lot to offer but I think the teacher is jealous? Why? Don't know. But you ladies bust a move and make any woman want to keep on learning. Deaddoll999
If you are not getting what you need from your current teacher , go find another. As a teacher, I was saddened by your post. Regardless of your age, you should always be encouraged to get better. I hope you don't give up. If dancing brings you joy. then keep dancing!.

I dream about one day when I will be able to play with the stage like they did... right now all I can do on stage is trying to not forget the choreo :-D And I also dream about being such a great tribal fusion dancer like these girls are...,must meet them soon (although we are not that far away from each other, unfortunately there was no occasion...but there will be! :-D)

Do not give up! I made that mistake because my director was jealous, and because my family didn't support me. Dancing for me, was the most happy time in my life, Now I'm out of shape, i got cramps every strech i do, and overweight. DO NOT GIVE UP!
You ladies look really good together, & even though I have seen quite a few other belly dancers use the music that you danced to in this video, I actually really enjoyed the performance. :)
