My great grandfather managed to get a visa to Shanghai from Nazi occupied Austria at a time when no country would accept him. He was desperate to get out and China was the only country willing to accept him and his family. The Chinese diplomat who issued all the travel documents was a gracious person by the name of Ho Feng-Shan. Google it. Without this gentleman I won't be here to write about him. He did this against orders and was sacked soon after. In the year 2000 my grandfather and father were there when his daughter was invited to a ceremony to honour him at the Yad Vashem Memorial. It was an emotional event. More than 15,000 descendents of the Jews that he saved attended the ceremony. Thank you China

My grandfather and his family fled to Shanghai before they were able to emigrate to the US, hope to visit this museum some day and see the name Loebel engraved.

@@yangtaotai he passed away recently, but would tell my cousins and I that he lived there for 3 years and they actually had yeshivas setup to continue learning and even picked up on Mandarin during that time. His brother and parents showed up later on, once he was already in the US.
As a token of gratitude, Israel almost immediately recognized the PRC government as the legitimate government of China shortly after its establishment. To this day, China and Israel have remained strong allies. Some may find it odd, because China's relationship with Iran has been strong as well, but politics is complicated ☺
I’m always proud of my motherland’s honorary role and contribution in World War 2, and taking in many Jewish refugees was one of them. 🥲

I was born in Shanghai in 1951. My father was from Malaya and my mother was Shanghainese. Together with other members of the family, we left China in 1956. During the final year, we lived in a tenement in a courtyard building near Jiujiang Road. I would certainly love to visit the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum one day.

All this is a trap in the typically byzantine style: while they incite you to defend the byzantine-canaanite-romanian-greek rotschild, they, through their agents (you know them already) and with the help of other groups like the mafia who are eager to take you over attack Wall Street for some years already, before (and including) 2008 crisis. These are your alternatives: your enemies strong and your friends weak, while you are taken almost everything or the total opposite. Plese be wise, you need it most than ever! You could even fix a price for that to make the things clear, to avoid the misunderstandings that UK is still facing (hopefully not for long).
