Most of the DCD is expensive. I never got a few of the higher priced things.
DCC marketed the original base as being 2-sided so you can move the clear whoosh piece to either side. Also, I think the side without the manhole cover is supposed to be a shrunk down version of the Batcave exit door that hinges down. 👍
Doesn't matter how you see it, every single DC Collectibles release will always be superior to the cheap knock off Mcfarlane ones.
Mcfarlane are doing reissues. Not knock offs. They have the license and they signed a contract so get your facts straight.
And secondly I can't comment on it but seems like plastic quality has improved and better paint quality.
Less accessories than previous so that the originals hold their value
I have both in many of these animated line, to be honest, mcfarlane's plastic material looks really cheap.
I think for the most part it's just McFarland trying to give us better value. If they include another Batman figure that's adding 30 bucks to price point.
And some people would be stuck getting another Batman when they're stuck with another Batman with the bill to figure series to begin with
