      I feel this. I was an 80s kid and was huge Sting fan. As I got older and watching Sting get his ass kicked on a weekly basis by Vader in the early 90s, I lost interest. Goldberg brought back something exciting in wrestling for me again. I loved this intense, fear no man, feel no pain, indestructible powerhouse that he was.

    I am glad he decided to do another match. What happened with Taker was just a freak accident and insane heat opposed to probably ring rust. Goldberg in his prime was amazing. Wish he would have stayed in the WWE longer on his first run. Missed out on much of his prime.

    • @SandmanFightingSys
      @SandmanFightingSys 5 років тому +11

      DJ Skandalous exactly, look at every match on that card. Every match didn’t live up to ( at least in my opinion) to each participants normal performance. Everyone seemed physically exhausted , with temps over 100+ degrees ; wouldn’t take long at all for heat exhaustion to set in.

      Mike T I have no dog in that fight, sir. I tell you this, though. You, and I, are family. As is everyone else in America. We should all act like family. Not the dysfunctional one either, lol. As long as they assimilate to Texas, and don’t try to change Texas, welcome. But don’t leave a place you’re unhappy with, and try to change the culture of your host, to the place you left. Be it California, Italy, Pakistan, or Mexico. You fled oppression. Don’t attempt to oppress those around you. Assimilate to your surroundings.

      I USED to drive California, but I haven’t been there since 1999. It didn’t just become communist, I saw it coming. Over 20 + years of driving, no accidents, over a million safe driving miles, the only tickets I got was around the LA area. That’s another reason I LOVE TEXAS. Mind your P’s and Q’s, act right, respect the law, and they let you do your job. They’re not attempting to generate revenue like California is. I live in the Missouri Bootheel. I have Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, & Arkansas within a close proximity to me. We’re Southern here. Hell, I see Confederate Flags flying LOUD AND PROUD in Texas.
      There’s a reason you don’t mess with Texas. They’re not some pansy ass, candy kiss state like California. I live in Missouri, but everyone who knows me will tell ya, my heart is in Texas. She’s the greatest country in the world. I’d love to meet you sometime when I’m visiting your great state.

    It was an unfortunate situation. Glad he didn't get hurt even worse. Also the guy should be given credit for taking a few bumps for Dolph at SS. The fact that even after the fiasco at Saudi Arabia, Goldberg still let Ziggler have some offense in their match says a lot about the man in my view.

I live in (and I’m from) Dallas, TX and in Texas it gets HOT like now, every year in August, the temperature gets 100+ degrees and I work out there in that heat and it can DRAIN you really quick. So I understand why that match didn’t go well cause it was hot as hell to them (Undertaker&Goldberg). Just understand that it was hot as hell at that show in Saudi Arabia and they gave it their all the heat just got to them

    • @zackreynolds21
      @zackreynolds21 5 років тому +9

      Cokeysmurf-Wrong...watch it back. Taker had him way too low and not Goldberg letting go. It was a Taker botch plain and simple. Let’s not forget Goldberg was already in a bad way before this. At that point,it’s up to a ring veteran to not take unnecessary chances. Goldberg was clearly out of it as it was. The turnbuckle botch was an unfortunate mistake and set the match up for failure,NO DOUBT...but Taker botching the tombstone was all on him. Thank god Goldberg has a strong,thick neck still,or it probably would’ve paralyzed him

    Booker T. Greater than Goldberg and Undertaker combined. I said it. The man's athleticism, likeability, diverse move set, agility and matches say it all. Why WCW waited so long to push him to main event status baffles me(wrong timing maybe because they were being poisoned by Hogan and politics. Was it race? I mean they put the belt on Ron Simmons and made history as the first black pro wrestling champ so idk.
