The Analysis format is dead (on pause) - long live the Guide format! What do you guys think? I'm quite happy with this format; it's more flexible for me to write and record mostly voice-over and edit with music and score. It might be me playing as on here, but could also be other recordings in the future. It's partly a logical development from having got really comfortable with my go-to devices for analyzing and illustrating, but it's also a return to the original motivation behind Sonata Secrets: to provide commentary on the great classical music to a wider audience. I'm basically planning on doing one of these per month for the rest of 2024, on bigger works that have inspired me. My patrons already know what's waiting in the spring!
I loved this new format, even at the begining it’s kind of strange; is first time I hear this Tarantele, so beautiful like Rach’s pieces!! Thanks a lot for this great and lovely work❤
Apart from concertos, I really enjoy Rachmaninoff's 2 Suites. I could listen to them over and over again and never get tired. In the 2nd suite, I am particularly fond of the first three movements, especially the third “Romance”, which gradually touches the deepest parts of my heart. Thank you for analyzing this underrated piece. Looking forward to Suite 1❤

I like the new format. I haven't heard these before and the Tarantelle felt modern especially in the solo section.
