There's a reason why Blue Skirt Waltz is one of the better polkas out there, and good vocals prove it. Great job with this!
Beautiful rendition of the Blue Skirt Waltz. This was one of my parents' favorites. I can close my eyes and still see them dancing to this song on many a dance floor. Thanks for the fond memory ...
Used to hear this waltz often when I was a little boy growing up in Wisconsin. Never thought I would hear it again!!
A most beautiful waltz - I love it! Wonderful band!

THANK YOU SO,SO MUCH!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!! THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!!
Beautiful waltz and played to a perfection.Brings tears to my eyes each time I here it.
me too,my late brother used to play it so well
Love this Remember it from 1956 at a family 'racket" (party) at the Socal Hall in Jersey City I was 6 just started playing accordion. Still playing it now in Norman Oklahoma
Another favorite of my Father when I was a child and all 7 of us kids not only learned to dance the waltz but could sing the words to this song, this was before the days of cd,mp3 etc. I recall a book of songs -handwritten- that we kids had in the backseat and when we went anywhere we sang the songs from that book.Wish I had the book today.
Great rendition!!
Robert was probably referring to the genre of music which is described-with/named many different terms (from Alpine to Slovenian to Oberkrein to Cleveland-Style and polka music) - but as far as I know, only in Slovenian language is called by the name "narodno-zabavna glasba" (literal translation: folk-entertaining music) that pretty sufficiently describes the style - and includes both, polkas and waltzes.
I love !!!!
Bravo Slovenci!

Um...it's a waltz...not a polka...lol....
You need a better drummer
