Did you notice that the reel is super smooth but there’s like an audible sound when the spool is oscillating? I can hear it in your vid and others. Mine does the same. Still smooth just sounds annoying. Maybe it’s just cause it’s brand new and needs to be broken in and have the grease worked around?
Yeah, it's not the quietest reel, that's for sure. I plan to beat it up pretty good and will let you know if the sound gets better or worse.

Just a question maybe you guys can help me with. I bought a spinning reel recently and the bail arm when opened doesn’t flip back over automatically when you start reeling. I see this as a fault.
Is it something that some companies don’t put into their reels? As I have Shimano and Kastking spinning reels and their bail arms flip automatically when you start reeling . ??
I also heard you mention in this video that this Diawa reel doesn’t flip automatically? So now I am wondering? If you have any insight into this that would be great.
Some have automatic bails and some are manual. Depends on the make and model

If you are go get big game fish need to get 8000 reel that not go to cut it at all
