Had he pulled that run off.. would have gone down as one of the greatest ever. He was just killing that 1st half. I hope he tunes up that same run and wins with it next year.
not only vincent got robbed, kairi deserved to be on better position than 8th and felipe made a perfect run as well with lot of flip combos.. great contest, confusing end
Had to watch Vincent's run after reading this... still have to give it to Foy I don't think he got robbed. Foy timed his tricks out better to have the bangers at the end and won the crowd. Vincent got a respectable 2nd and very close maybe throw the kick flip into the bank at the end but still foys ender gave him the edge with that overcrook to back smith
Just watched felipes run though what the hell how was that 8th it was flawless with a ton of flip in tech tricks... i didn't see the whole think but I believe you just okay with the Foy for first though lol
Big Boy Foy earned every bit of that win. He'll go down as one of the greats. About time a Florida man wins Tampa pro. And the best trick too? Only Florida man has the capacity for that type of foolishness. Front crook through 2 kinks nollie flip out 🤣 He's one of the best on the board and he rarely (if ever?) wins 1st place in any contests. What an accomplishment, so stoked for him.
@@robertbarnhart7791 you should know that the contests are not about where you from but what you do, every flip trick is a big risk and like a skater you have to prove that you can you everything, vincent did tricks with more variety on every obstacle
@@frc7573 since Im 40 years old, been skating since '95 I'm much aware it doesn't matter where you're from lol. If you knew the history, you'd know how rare it is for someone from FL to win Tampa. I've been to Tampa skatepark plenty times. The best run always wins, thats one contest who always gets it right which is why it's so repected. Vince had one good run but it still didnt touch Foy's in my opinion. Look at your name....think you have some FRanCe bias going on just a little bit? haha.
@@michaelkrauer1286 Agreed. How do you get 1st place without doing any flip tricks? Not that crooked and smith grinds aren't impressive but that's all he did. The 'judging' aspect of the event makes no sense, better to just enjoy some good skateboarding from everyone. Also, when 12 out of the 12 judges ALL drink green monster energy drinks, you know you can't trust like that.
Vincent got robbed imo. I love Jamie, and I don't know how hard it is to be a judge. But, me watching live for days? That was the beat run. All the winners runs killed, but that 1st final run by Milou... that had an energy and flow that made this 36yo skater who's first board had Alf on it jump out of his seat.
People will say just be happy for Foy and skateboarding. I love watching Jamie shredding the streets. But that was not a contest-winning run, a lot of people agree out there. There was no real diversity and like a lot mentioned, not flipping his board once. You can hear the crowd give token cheers throughout being a bit "meh" because those are Jamie's safe tricks. They come alive in the last two tricks which were more technical. Super solid run overall though. Staying on his board was key.
Im a big fan of Foy but not flipping his bored once and only using the end ramps to turn? Not the best judging. It's a hard run to score if you're blinded by rail skills. He did not do any decent lines, did not flip his bored, did 50/50s, kick turns and rock fakies on the 1/4 pipes. A bit of a weird win.
@@kalvinreese8387 yeaaah for sure, but, he gots a point, foy is both super chill as a dude, and mad skilled, but milou run was way better, my guess, a local got a perfect run and that was it for the judges
Amazing run by Foy but wasn’t the winning run to me. He did the same tricks he always does boring and safe amazing tricks but too much of same. Vincent should have won he had way more flavor in his run it was much more unique. I think Jamie should have got 3rd and jake 2nd.
PLEASE DO NOT POLITICISE SKATEBOARDING. If a skater is better than other, he should be given first place, regardless of whether he was given birth in Europe, Asia, Africa or whatever. Stop the ‘US first no matter what’ nonsense
Ikedas run was better than all of this but I feel like the Tampa Am has always been a higher level of skill/competition maybe bc the Ams are still trying to go Pro and get their name out there idk but I’ve always thought the Am comp was way more fun to watch then the pros
Fun fact: Jamie Foy did the front blunt shove with his board backwards to set up with it straight for the last trick
Justice for Vincent ✊️
I'm surprised Netsuke didn't place higher. He can definitely shred. 🔥
kairi's semi finals runs where better than the winning runs no doubt
Had he pulled that run off.. would have gone down as one of the greatest ever. He was just killing that 1st half. I hope he tunes up that same run and wins with it next year.
Thx so much for the live stream!!! Good work !!!

Very surprising that run won, no flip tricks, only grinds and a lot of the tricks were very much just staples.

Killer filming and editing boys
❤️❤️❤️ tuned in to the live feed all weekend long!
Jamie's run was perfect
No push, all flow, perfect hype song.
It all just came together.
No Flip or Shove it tricks only a fs blunt shove it out. No one should win a Contest by only doing ollies
Whats the Name of that Song ?
@@michaelkrauer1286 there was at least one really nice Bluntslide shovit of...And for me Vincent did not do enough to win because he had no banger

Native of florida privilege dude…
Jamie done a “best trick” trick on a regular final round... please stfu 🤫
congrats jamie!!!
La ronda de Jamie foy no tuvo ni un solo flip,la ronda de Milou estuvo completa
Si piensas que solo con flips ganas una compe te falta mucho estimado

now for an SLS win. Lets go Foy!
Jamie foy representing florida right!!!

Doing "simple" tricks perfectly pinched and styled is a winning run for me
Jake didnt land a single full run. Filipe should've got 2nd. His entire run was basically switch, flipping in or out of almost every trick.
What about carlos????
Jamie won with no flip tricks
why they get rid of the hubba??? huge loss
A robbery is when someone CLEARLY won the contest but didn't get the win. So this was quite close, but never a robbery.
Surprised Yuto didn’t get Gold just for showing up
Nyjahs short shorts creep me out
All that technology and you guys can't make more than 4 clips a year....
ira the man!
no flips

I had Vincent take the win real talk no diss on Jamie
What bout yuto horrifome he's good asf if not better then Jaymie but they skate 2 different styles
Any Am could've done Foy's run. Are you fvcking kidding Skatepark of Tampa? Kaire deserved better. And what the fvck is up with those judges?
Not one flip was seen that day.
Flips are so bored dudes
Not gonna lie, that was underwhelming.
