    The driver on the field has to radio back to the tractor pumping to stop the pump as if he just closed of the spread plate the pressure on the pipes could result in a burst. Thats why CB'S are so important on this job.

    Spreading this way is alot easier on the ground especially if its wet as a tanker of slurry can be quiet a weight. It also reduces compaction.

    i'd say the slurry has to be fairly waterie for it to work? Very even spread.

    Not really. If its well mixed is usually no problem.
