For some reason im not as upset as i thought I'd be. Yes this is the ferns worst WC finish ever, but they're still a competitive team. Our attack needs some work to cope without Grace. Yes you should never rely on 1 shooter but every team has their main shooter. It's just unfortunate we lost ours. When she's back we'll be winning again. We were definitely beaten by better teams and deserve to be 4th. We also have a lot of young 1s coming through so the future isn't all doom and gloom. People need to relax a little. I do wonder though what they did 4 those 6 weeks. There were talks about incorporating basketball tactics. I would say that was implemented in the defence end.

Netball is up there as one of our big sports. It deserves a thorough review. We wouldn't hold back on the All Blacks why would we hold back here. Disappointing result for NZ and we should rightly be asking questions of the coaching and what went wrong, and what we're going to do to rectify things

Exactly the silver ferns are too soft on themselves you won't win making excuses, worst attitude ever from our national netball team.

No national sports team should be about one player; losing Grace was devastating, but I have to believe Dame Taurua had more than one game plan and contingencies in place for the possibility of injuries. I feel for the girls, but hold your heads high, we're still on your side.

I cannot wait for the next era to begin! My brother and I have been fans since childhood, and we've loved the Silver Ferns - through thick and thin. I don't expect our decision-makers to have all the answers straight away, and with retirements, there'll be a period of blooding-in new players against the best in the world. Bring it on Silver Ferns!! Cannot wait

NZ needs to be more ruthless, especially when playing Australia, or when they ever get back to the top, stop saying “ such and such was too good” such a cop out, be better and mentally stronger when pressure applied...

The blow was over reliance on Grace. That she got injured early on in the tournament, News Zealand was psychologically affected and it was hard to deal with this psychology within 10 days of the tournament. The result was poor performance by the 2019 world cup champion.

Can you please invite Anna Stanley and Jenny Woods to analyze the games??

I'd really like them to speak their minds as well. They are both so astute as well. Loved Adine, Anna S and Stormy though

Hi @naivilali, we did manage to get Courtney & Anna Stanley's thoughts from Capetown for this show. Jenny was calling the Closing Ceremony, so wasn't available for this programme.

No grace no win-simply balance of team not tall enough>Jamaica has 6ft 5" grace's 6 3" is minimum with great jumping ability. If all teams lose their no 1 g/s they will suffer immensely.Noelines fitness regime doesnt score goals, she's greatly overrated,in 2019 she had a superior team, with amelia and maria both 90% scoring!

No you were too soft, too weak and too many excuses. Star player injured, you should not be relying on one player. Seriously Netball? Im sorry but that was the worst attitude I've ever seen from a New Zealand netball team and im 46.
