pied Piper WWH I like the idea of throwing my beauty blenders in the washer. It would be way less work. I don’t know about using actual laundry detergent though. I’m like you and think that it may cause face irritation. Maybe some sort of Dreft, aka baby detergent or just use hot water even.
I just run a hot cycle once a week with no clothes in it, just vinegar and baking soda. (I also put 0.5-1 cup of Pine Sol in with my detergent for EVERY load of laundry I do. Pine Sol is antibacterial and believe it or not, the smell does not stay behind on my clothes.)
I’m sure with how much of a cleaning germ-scared lady Bunny is, she used one of those tide washing machine cleaners after this or ran an empty load! 👍🏻🤗
No one has ever been harmed by washing their clothing and bedding like normal... with normal detergent and maybe a once a year cleaning of the actual machine, bunny. It's too much. Just too much 😂
If you’re happy cleaning it one a year then that’s fine. But it’s not too much to clean it as often as Bunny does, I also clean my machine once a week or once a fortnight. It just makes me feel better.

apparently you can ‘clean’ the inside of your washing machine by putting a dishwashing tablet in the detergent draw/compartment and running a hot water cycle, it will remove any mould or sludge
With Front loaders you want to run a cleaner setting to clear out residue also keep the door open when not in use so it can dry out so you don't grow things. Also keeps them from smelling weird. I have to be on it about that since I wash a lot of things in cold water.
Thanks for the recommendation on the Lysol laundry soap! I just started nursing assistant school and was worried about how to sanitize my scrubs, but now I know that I can just use the Lysol laundry soap instead! Yay!

Two points that i am not sure anyone has pointed out yet, so I am going to put them here. 1) The washers were different and I think it works better because a top loader fills with water and stays. As opposed to your front loader that works way differently and doesn't really soak them and keep them in the water and cleaner. 2) With the beauty Blenders, put in half the amount since they swell considerably when saturated. That way, they have more room in the bag. I would, with the amount of beauty sponges you cleaned, even do a third of the amount. I think these factors may have contributed to the mixed results!!! Loved the video!!
She either did her ridiculous 17 step cleaning regime or tossed all of it or didnt toss them and put them in her hoarding corner.... THESE ARE THE ONLY CHOICES.
Walmart is where those bags come from just bought one to wash my bra in and unfortunately it’s does not fit D cups so I had to buy another from another place.
Maybe they have different sized ones? Mine are just like that and I got them at Walmart too. I'm a DD and they fit. It's snug but I'm not scrunching them in or misshaping them or anything. Maybe check and see if they have a bigger one for your ladies
It took me forever to find them in Walmart because I was told it was a different section of the store. I got 4 for when I have to replace. Very excited because I hate hand washing my bras.

I'm so glad Bunny made this video! Ever since I saw the TikTok video, I was curious about whether or not it would work or if it was just a scheme to go viral. I didn't feel quite brave enough to try it myself, but now I'm sure that I won't be doing it after seeing the damage that was done to quite a few of the brushes she tested. After more time passes, I'm definitely curious to see if there are any more brushes that come apart like the one she showed. I do have an excellent tip for cleaning and sanitizing brushes and sponges, though. I was so tired of buying and trying tons of different brush cleaners that out of pure frustration I decided to try something a bit different. I use the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo and one day I just decided to see what it could do for my makeup brushes/sponges. Wow, was I surprised! It works like a charm! It gets brushes and sponges alike as clean as the day that I bought them and it's gentle enough that it doesn't do any damage to them at all!! And there's the added bonus (in my opinion) of the tea tree oil helping to disinfect the brushes and sponges as it cleans them. It might seem a bit much to use a somewhat more expensive shampoo to clean your brushes, but in the long run, when you consider the prices of most brush cleaners it's really not. And you don't need much to clean each brush. I just thought I'd throw it out here for anyone who might be interested in trying it out.
Seeing a part 2 where you reclean these to see how much makeup is left on them would be dope.
Seconded
agree, looks like a massive amount left

@@michaelawilhelminajosepina9350 lol i was looking if someone said it. When you wash your hands with antibacterial soap, you get sick more quickly. And also when you clean things to clean, your immune system isnt prepared to fight it. So you will also get sick more easily. (Sorry im not english speaking)
@@michaelawilhelminajosepina9350 I have Lupus, so I have to be very careful with germs and keeping bad germs away. I use hand sanitizer and wash my hands often. Thanks to my vigilance, I haven't had so much as a cold for almost 3 years now.
I would like to see how you normally wash your brushes and sponges. Much love Bunny 🖤
I use Lysol laundry sanitizer in every load, love that stuff! Also I just use bleach and the clean cycle on my machine... the tide washing machine cleaner is a cash grab especially since you have a newer style machine that probably has a clean/sanitize cycle
Ooh girl, you’re likely gonna see the shedding later on what with the water retention in the ferrule
Bunny: I wash my brushes and sponges after every use
Also bunny: has a whole box full of dirty sponges and brushes
She has a whole box because she wont use the same brush or sponge twice without washing it. So she buys a lot of them or shed be washing brushes everyday
Summer Rose i don’t really care to be honest haha, but it’s funny, saying I wash them every time I use them, and seeing grubby sponges. Made me giggle
Ps, some of them looked like they’d been used more than once soooo, I don’t know about what she says
Idk i do my makeup and my sponges usually look just as dirty as hers. By the time you do foundation, concealer, and powder a sponge will look like that
She did say she made them dirty for the purpose of this video
I throw my blenders in the wash all the time with towels. Works amazing!!
And I started using laundry soap instead of dish soap for my brushes about a month ago and it works AMAZINGGGGFF
Paint Me Unique xoxo that’s pretty cool I should do that. People should be careful with laundry soap it can cause dermatitis and allergic reaction even if you don’t think you’re allergic
pied Piper WWH I like the idea of throwing my beauty blenders in the washer. It would be way less work. I don’t know about using actual laundry detergent though. I’m like you and think that it may cause face irritation. Maybe some sort of Dreft, aka baby detergent or just use hot water even.
I wonder what the center of some of those beauty sponges look like.
Theres videos where people cut them in half just look it up sis ❤
Just clean inside think she has dine a video before or some makeup guru
I feel like a dishwasher would be better. Less aggressive but equally effective. Unless the higher heat would undo the glue...
Jay Petrova the detergent is much more aggressive
It gets too hot and the glue melts.
I am curious as to how it would clean sponges
My dishwasher has a low heat setting. And by that I mean it’s just warm water. I think that would be good. Especially if you did it without soap.
Yes..i think u should put one towel..haha
I am really loving the videos lately!
When she said “yummy yummy in my tummy” after the mold thing... I lost it
OMG YOU PUT WAYNE GOSS BRUSHES IN THE WASHER!? 😲
IKR!!!
No no no no! Love your Wayne Goss brushes! They deserve it!
I was sitting there cringing the whole time like oh my God no please don't! LOL and they're definitely destroyed now.
@@tattooedgirl22 Who. Cares? It's a brush.
Whooooaaaaaahhhhhhh
Omg I'm so into the disinfecting of your washing machine and that lysol thing you use. More cleaning/disinfecting videos? 🤷🏽♀️
Adriana Jaimes there are real great videos about cleaning and disinfecting! My fav is Clean My Space. Check her out.
Wow! 😲Thanks Bunny for the washing machine tip!😁💕
Nobody:
Bunny: YOUR WASHING MACHINE IS FULL OF STAFF AND FLU GERMS 🦠
Me: ... has to share a washing machine with 5 apartments in my building ☹️
7 people live with me
Same, except mine if for like 30+ buildings :'(
I wrote this before she mentioned that clothes sanitizer so I’ll definitely be picking up a bottle of that now haha
@@celalauren9543 I just bought some and did ALL the laundry with it, i am OBSESSED
I’m surprised the brushes didn’t fall apart wow
Honestly waited for the washer repair man's cue to re-level that drum!🤣 Jkjk
I like the dummy; he should have different glasses every time.
BUNNI I LOVE YOUR BLUE EYES SO MUCH! 💙
“Ferrule” is pronounced “ferel” like a feral cat....
In the beginning when she was saying should my friend stay or not I started to think of the song should I stay or should I go
I loooove that song 😍
I literally just cane from the video of worst acts on America’s got talent and the last act was that song!!
Recalling where she got every brush and blender...this is me impressed and smilingly happy! 😁
I would be worried that makeup residue would stay behind and stain my clothes when I wash another load.
Just run the washer without any clothes again. Also don't do this because of the water will get into your ferrules.
Same here
Yeah. A great way to get your washer clean is to just run an empty load. Run it hot on heavy wash.
I’m sure with how much of a cleaning germ-scared lady Bunny is, she used one of those tide washing machine cleaners after this or ran an empty load! 👍🏻🤗
your skin is looking so good! can we get an updated skin care routine?
I honestly had never thought of washer germs 🦠 time to break out the cleaning supplies 😂
“I’m here to poop on the party” haha 😂
No one has ever been harmed by washing their clothing and bedding like normal... with normal detergent and maybe a once a year cleaning of the actual machine, bunny. It's too much. Just too much 😂
But then again if it helps her with her anxiety I don't see the problem.
Ya but you're also not shoving those things into the pours of your face 🤷🏻♀️ I see where she's coming from
If you’re happy cleaning it one a year then that’s fine.
But it’s not too much to clean it as often as Bunny does, I also clean my machine once a week or once a fortnight. It just makes me feel better.
Dementia _ it’s a problem when people talk about it like it’s rational or factual when it’s not because people are so easily influenced with the germ thing anyway but especially by influencers. It’s dangerous misinformation.
I love that laundry sanitizer, I use it all the time. Its recommended to wash bedding/sheets/pillow cases once a week. I personally wash my mattress protector once a month. I wash my washing machine every 2-3 months or so with the same washing machine cleaner, but I think the box cleaner recommends once a month. I have issues with my immune system though and it’s good to sanitize what I wore at my doctors offices.
My heart just melted when I seen those Wayne Goss makeup brushes going into the washer!!😱😭🙊🖌 This was such a fun video though!! Love you, Bunny!!🐰💚😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo 💚🐊💚
I love you bunny. I had a crippling anxiety filled day yet when I played your video it instantly brought me comfort, thanks for always being you❤️
Who else misses bunny’s follow me around vlogs!
"Wooooow, vocabulary. Get some." Best thing I've heard. I need this on a shirt 😂 I love you so much Bunny! ❤️
Me this morning: looks up lingerie bags on amazon to wash my cloth tissues in. can't decide which one is good.
Bunny this afternoon: uploads vid with tons of lingerie bags
I've never even thought about bacteria in my washing machine
Paula Robles
There’s nothing to worry about with top loading washers as long as you bleach towels in hot water. That will sanitize it.
Well if you throw things in the dryer afterward the heat kills the bacteria
apparently you can ‘clean’ the inside of your washing machine by putting a dishwashing tablet in the detergent draw/compartment and running a hot water cycle, it will remove any mould or sludge
With Front loaders you want to run a cleaner setting to clear out residue also keep the door open when not in use so it can dry out so you don't grow things. Also keeps them from smelling weird. I have to be on it about that since I wash a lot of things in cold water.
Jolene Fraser great tips! We have a front loader, but only wash with cold water
I have a feeling some lucky lady is going to be getting some new brushes. Lol. Love your videos.
Thanks for the recommendation on the Lysol laundry soap! I just started nursing assistant school and was worried about how to sanitize my scrubs, but now I know that I can just use the Lysol laundry soap instead! Yay!
Wash brushes once a week?! More like once every 3mos
If you have acne you should wash them after each use. Just a tip!
Okay. I voted to keep the dummy. HOWEVER, he started moving when you swivled in the chair and I WAS WORRIED FOR YOUR SAFETY.
I cloth diaper my baby and we have a professional approved wash cycle and they recommend doing the machine clean cycle once a month. We only wash on cold. Our regular clothes get washed with his diapers and never had an issue with bacteria or anything like that.
Cloth diapering mom here and I am so confused about her worry about staph and bacteria? Like you use hand towels to DRY your clean hands and towels to dry your FACE after washing 🤔 clean your washer once a month and you're good
Would that Lysol soap she mentioned be ok for cloth diapers ?? I’m cloth diapering my daughter as well
@@maryjaneelizabeth5171 I wouldn't use it for every wash but I have heard of people using it as a booster. The FB group allaboutclothdiapers.com chat is a great resource and the website is useful as well
@@lisad2783 Its literally proven by science that washing machines are disgusting.
@@ladyspookums clean your washer once a month. Can't be that dirty if we all are willing to dry our hands and faces with towels that were washed in it 🙃
Two points that i am not sure anyone has pointed out yet, so I am going to put them here.
This is the only time I'd recommend a top loading washing machine
There is a huge part of me that hope she somehow hung those brushes upside down to get all the water out.
She either did her ridiculous 17 step cleaning regime or tossed all of it or didnt toss them and put them in her hoarding corner....
THESE ARE THE ONLY CHOICES.
i know its been a while since the not being recommended but it's all good because i just found this in my up next
Walmart is where those bags come from just bought one to wash my bra in and unfortunately it’s does not fit D cups so I had to buy another from another place.
ifeellikeanartist try the bags that Tide makes.
Maybe they have different sized ones? Mine are just like that and I got them at Walmart too. I'm a DD and they fit. It's snug but I'm not scrunching them in or misshaping them or anything. Maybe check and see if they have a bigger one for your ladies
But she said she got hers from Amazon...💁🏽♀️
They have them at other stores too
It took me forever to find them in Walmart because I was told it was a different section of the store. I got 4 for when I have to replace. Very excited because I hate hand washing my bras.
I just watched you with Shane. You have fantastic energy and your decor is TO DIE FOR LOL. I think you are very talented and you should do more videos as YOURSELF and talk about your love of the 1880's or whatever. You need to show the rest of your home. I think you are a DESIGNER.
Should make this a series! Can call it "TikTok Tips"!! :)
Jeffree Star told us He'd try it out to
This is my favorite video recently. I wish there were more "grown up" videos. It's nice when Bunny isn't "on" and is just herself.
The fact that you’re completely submerging your brushes is a huge NO for me. The glue can come apart and brush can completely fall apart
if you watched the video, bunny says that lol.

Love the video!
