- First of all - Irate Gamer sucks! And now a warning. If you are reading this then know I won't be nice in this description, so grab some beer and atomics and bear with me. NOTE: I know his vid is old and responding to him is pointless, but I just express how pissed off I am about it.
You fucking suck Chris Bores. This is an awesome game, with amazing controls. All shit you talk about is pulled out of your ass. Red gems too hard to reach? They are incredibly easy to get. First of all there are 70 of them not 60 and you need only 51 to see alternate credits (if you get all of them you will be called a Super Player instead of Great Player). Second, they require gaming skill, something you obviously can't buy on ebay. In that one example you showed, you wasn't using running start, you were not holding Y button. To reach that you can also use piece of cloth collected 1 level before this one.
Do you also know that if you get 100 green gems you gain 1 more heart to the max ammount of them (or heart refill if you already have it maxed out), so you can receive more hits before you die. No? Of course not. That and bonuses you can get from Genie (if you collected Golden Scarab) make this game incredibly easy. You totally suck at it!
"Abu is annoying" that is shit 7 year old would whine about, but of course your fanbase consists of 7 year olds. I didn't minded Abu at all. Also you contradict yourself, by saying it would be good to play as him. BTW playing as a main villain trying to thwart his own plans is a retarded idea.
"Levels that are not in the movie" - Genie level is based on song that is in the movie, dunno about Pyramid one, cuz I didn't watched Aladdin in years, but still, you whine that developers made more levels so you can feel you were not ripped off by buying this game. I would like to see even more levels not based on the movie, it adds more fun. BTW Abu following Aladdin was in the movie, you contradict yourself once more.
"Bonus credits are lame and final boss should be more of a challenge" - you cheated your way through the game, you have no right to say that boss is not challenging (although it's true), because you found this game too challenging for you to beat it without cheats, but you do that with all games. No game genie codes? FAWK THAT! Bonus credits are a nice touch, nothing special, but nothing bad. You don't deserve to get any ending, you cheater. You wipe your ass with it? I wipe my ass with your vids.
Of course some of you may say "Oh you played that game to death, you are so good at it and now you bitch about IG's skills". To your information, I started to play this game 2 days ago. I beat it on my first playthrough with 58 red gems collected, on 2nd one I got all 70 of them. This vid here is my 3rd playthrough of that game.
Final verdict: Irate Gamer is a disgrace to gaming community (if you will actually accept he is a gamer, which can be hard to do), he has no skills, whines like 7 year old and bashes a good game for no reason. The saddest part is that his brainless fans that never played this awesome game, believe him and will never know how awesome and fun to play it is. I won't even mention that his jokes suck, cuz I don't have 10 years to explain it.
My point in this mess of a description is that never believe angry reviewers about what they say, use your brain for once. No matter if it's AVGN, Irate Gamer or Spoony. They sometimes tend to dislike a good game for stupid reasons (IG does that all the time), so instead do your own damn research and find by yourself.
Dedicated for real gamers that love games for what they are!

Played through this Game again last weekend and wondered what happens if I get all 70 gems. Thanks for the great Video! And the description is godly, I totally agree with your opinion :) Thumbs up \m/
No one ever talks about this but, to do the jump he does at 13:01 you have to wait until a certain point in the swing of Aladdin's legs, right about until his legs start to swing the other way, then jump and press directly up at the same time(you can't afford to delay on pressing up or you just get a regular dismount). This is a rather tricky timing to get, so I would recommend practicing it over and over again in the first level, in both directions if necessary because there are a lot of things to swing from on that level. Eventually you should be able to do it on command.

This game is one of the best! They got this one right. Lion King was good, just a bit high on the difficulty level!
BTW, at 20:38, it says he "rubbed the lamp with his sleeve". Aladdin wore sleeves?!?

I'm not saying its a bad game its a good one! actually best movie based game i've played on a nintendo system but the alternate credits is still lame.

I totally agree with you. I never even knew he reviewed this. I havent played this in almost 8 years (I forgot about most of the levels) and I still beat it in 80 minutes. The controls got a tad awkward at times when he would slide off platforms, but never bad enough to interfere with the gameplay. It was nice, diverse, and fun. I played it all the time as a kid. Could you please do the GBA version on the GBA Player? The Bonus Stage music sounds much better on the GBA version.

Btw, I've always loathed the Irate Gamer. it might only be because I've been watching the AVGN when he was still the Angry Nintendo Nerd, while his videos were fresh out of his womb, so I might be a bit biased. He's blasted some games I liked before, but the only difference is that he's actually funny, smart, and he knows what the fuck he's talking about. The irate gamer is a blatant copycat (even the name...), so I have absolutely so respect for him.
