Thank you! This solves the problem of cross references linking to the last instance of a table's header and NOT the first header. Setting the 'continued' header in a different paragraph style and linking the cross reference to the main header's paragraph style solved this indesign bug.
there is a video teaching how to format tables, I have a little difficulty when I import tables from word to indesign, I create the table style and then when I select the table to apply it ends up that the style sometimes does not apply completely, then I have to stay manually fixing it, could you help me please
Great! And now the next question: how to split a table row across two pages in InDesign? I bet nobody has the answer to that questions yet! (Except for annoying workarounds)
@@CreativePro thanks for the reply. I was afraid this would be your answer. Over 600 people already voted for this feature, but somehow this does not get priority at Adobe 😢
Hi, your videos are amazing and I really appreciated the effort that you guys are putting into every video. I have a question, how can we do calculations in InDesign like excel? Is there a free script or plugin for InDesign 2022? Please do replay.
@@CreativePro thank you so much for your response. I did use that script but it was not working correctly in my InDesign 2022. I don't know whether I have made mistake or something else. Please can you make a video on this topic 🙂
Thank you-thank you-thank you! You made this so clear in such a short amount of time.

Yeah, it’s not possible (though it might be scriptable).

Thanks for the kind words. You would need to do a search for current available scripts. There was an old one that might still work “CALCULS_RAYNAUX.”

nice! thnx!
Neat!
This is good. But what if the table has two rows that should be headers?
It works the same way. Just set the table to have two header rows.
