I really enjoy the dragon's teeth and wish we could build more of them. Ever play Call of Duty: Big Red 1? The last mission has a huge killing field with them.
There is also an hmg on the first floor inside the building overlooking B on rotterdam near the D flag. Its more usefull than the ones you named for that map.
This might just be me but i love how when you play as the british you build 6 pounder anti tank guns and vickers HMGs and as the germans you build pak 40s and stationary mg34s. Great touch of detail.
Until a few weeks ago the Germans just used the Vickers too. The MG34 was only recently added in with a patch. It's probably better too as it has less visual recoil and muzzle flash so it's easier to see where the bullets are going.
Since this is a good way to reach the battlefield community, I just wanna say, I really appreciate playing with all you guys, and I look forward to many more good fights 💪🏻
The trench network that runs from F flag to G flag on Panzerstorm. You can dig your way to either if the flags are heavily fortified Shawshank Redemption style.
Maybe already said a million times, but you could do some kickass documentary voice-over/commentary work. As a support main, this video was super informative, thank you!
Quick Tip: If you are controlling an AA fortification and fear being shot by a recon, you can easily mess up their shots by aiming left and right as fast as you can. This works because you are sitting on the seat of AAs in BFV and therefore your player model will move in a circling direction whilst doing so. Especially helpful on PC where there is no auto aim at all. Besides it being very funny that a recon shoots his entire ammunition onto you thinking that you will be an easy target, it is also very evective for you and tilting for them, wich again helps your team in a way :)
You not mentioned the wooden bridge, not a lot of player know them. I particulary think of the roterdam map, in the germany spanw, the wooden bridge for get on the bridge
Technically, since it's world war II, you should probably be using the WW2 versions of the phonetic alphabet, as opposed to the BF1 ones... and a couple scattered modern ones :P More specifically; for the British/Germans respectively A - Able/Anton B - Baker/Berta C - Charlie/Ceasar D - Dog/Dora E - Easy/Emil F - Fox/ Freiderick G - George/ Greta :3
Love the video! Stationary guns were my favorite part of BF1 and I have wanted to use them more in BFV, but didn’t know where they were. Thanks for the info!
I was really sceptical about the whole construction aspect of BFV in the beginning, but fell inn love with it during the open beta. Building obstacles and fortifications can really turn the tides if you and your squad/team uses them correctly!
There's an MG that you can build on fjell facing B on breakthrough. Super useful for taking out long enemies at long range and destroying the fortifications
The D flag ridge guns, on the second stage of Breakthrough on Panzerstorm are incredible. You get to snipe all the vehicles and players as they crest the distant ridge.
I think the most useful fortifications are the ones u build that actually benefit ONLY your team. I’ve seen many teammates build fortifications that have no use to my team and the enemy uses to great effect.
In Rotterdam over looking D in the bridge thier is another mg post to build over looing the flag objective and is very useful to defend the flag and counter-attacking as well
On Panzerstorm in front of C, between that and the river, you can build trench system with multiple machine guns, a couple AT guns, and I believe an AA gun. To repel attacks from A and B. A machine gun might point toward D, by the Cottage at C.
I like on hamada that you can rebuild the concrete anti tank blocks running from A past B which can stop British Armour and 3 support players can completely stop tanks moving through the open areas of the map by placing at mines inbetween. The only place that is the weakness is the road running from A to C which has no defences whatsoever except the occasional tank dug in on the Oasis parts edge
I usually only find fortifications useful on rush, operations, and other game modes like that, if its on conquest your best bet is to build a fortification either directly in view or in the middle of the action, if you build fortifications where no one is fighting leaving it lets the enemy just parachute in and boom, the enemy now has a stronghold behind your lines
On that City map, the objective under the bridge is a easy target for tanks. You build up the fortifications then a armored vehicle rolls up and knocks em down
On Areodome I looked everywhere for that stationary cannon but literally could not find it. Did they remove it? Edit: Just researched they patched out the stationary gun on Areodome
I destroyed a Stuka who was dogfighting a spitfire about 200 yards away. I used a Pak. By far the highlight of my games lmao. It was the first shot too I was dying laughing that it worked.
i think the AT gun on G for Twisted steel is the best one because it has such a commanding view of D and you can watch the treeline for tanks and infantry without having to worry too much about tanks firing back, but you can't cover the entire swamp so infantry can creep up on the edge of the map into G
Final DLC will add the ability to build the Atlantic Wall.
And the Berlin wall
@@justandrew3844 you know the berlin wall was built during the cold war right?
Chill it was a joke
mechanisedorca oh is this a ww2 game? I never knew that lol
The Maginot Line is actually already ingame. But outside the playable area. So historicaly accurate.
I like these secret guns. It allows for actual practical stationary guns
On Hamada you can also rebuild some of the dragons teeth
huh
Collision he’s talking about the concrete
Sharp rocks that snipers like to hug
I really enjoy the dragon's teeth and wish we could build more of them. Ever play Call of Duty: Big Red 1? The last mission has a huge killing field with them.
There’s also an at gun near the bridge
How does one build a martini?
Gin and Vermouth. Garnish with an Olive
Whatever you do, don't stir it.
One dose not simply build a martini
I like you
I know your missing it TBM I wish there was something like it on BF5 too.
Lol am I the only one who loves building fortifications?
oh yeah, youre so quirky and the weird
definetely the only one who has ever built fortifications
i award you 5 purple hearts
Nah I do that all the time
Stupaduss Idk I’m digging it.

Built many fortifications when I played support at the beginning of the game. This is very informative for those that don't usually play this class.
The ‘western` front go to arras on F or panzerstorm B hold those the entire match after building all fortifications
_"Hey look, buddy. I'm an engineer. That means I solve problems..."_
Not problems "what is beauty?" Because that would fall within purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems.

Love using the AT gun like an oversized sniper rifle against infantry 😁.

Personally this was really helpful as these artillery/ anti tank guns are very effective and I use them a lot
They should add more innovative fortifications or like choose a style of fortifications when setting your load out.
I'm so thankful that there are quite a few flaks on objective D panzerstorm.
There was a few here that i didn't know about that could be pretty useful! Good vid Flak!
I love how you said hello everyone its flak fire while firing a flak 👍🏼 👌
How old is this channel? im surprised by how good the quality of the content is and so few subscribers so far.

6:25 thys AT gun is not so great because it can't aim down so tanks like stug may be just below your fireing range.

Very interesting. I’ve been playing B5 since the first day of early release and I didn’t know a lot of this, to include the two snowmen. :)
I like BFV i just wish the Anti tank gun towables were easier to positon and were more usable in game. Add a new dynamic in game

There was some updates that removed some fortifications in aerodrome, the ones of the lower grounds.
On that City map, the objective under the bridge is a easy target for tanks. You build up the fortifications then a armored vehicle rolls up and knocks em down
Very well done video!

The ones on D in twisted steel are dope

Bought a blue snowball but I would recommend the yeti as it has the mute capability and the snowball seems to pick up a lot of background noise
Awesome!! Love you flak.

Imagine someone looking at you like what flak fire is doing in the thumbnail
Are all these fortifications locked in the Conquest game mode? Or are they on all maps regardless of the game?
3:13 dont know if it was intentional but dice positioned them into an israeli star
I like how you started off saying your name Flakfire while firing a flak gun
A cool class to add could be support engineer where they get access to building more things and where ever they want

Knocking out a Tiger with that gun was one of the first things I did in BFV. It's such a good spot.
