- Traditional Korean dress is called Hanbok(한복).
Hanbok is so beautiful thanks to its good combination of straight and curved lines, and its colors are also very various.
I hope you can enjoy the beauty of Hanbok through this video~ ^0^
I always think that the hanbok was so elegant
So Beautiful 😍
Omg I have never saw anything so perfect Love the beauty elegant and traditionSo wonderful Thank you all
So Beautiful 😍 of Korea 🇰🇷
Actually, ancient Korean girls had worn earrings until the early Joseon Dynasty. However, they began to stop wearing earrings due to the influence of Confucianism. Korean Confucianists, who were very strict at the later Joseon Dynasty, prohibitted women from wearing expensive and luxury accessories including earring, necklace, and bracelet. That's why other Korean accessories like Norigae and hair accessory have been developed~ :)
kjkj927 where is the norigae often hung? is it the laces of the otkrum?
They also prohibited the wearing of the big, elaborate wigs called gache, although I believe the kisaeng continued to wear them.
Because the Japanese ambassadors ridiculed Korean Kisaengs with black peppers (black pepper was very expensive in Korea), Cheonghyang who was the leader of the Kisaengs couldn't stand it and slapped other fellow Kisaengs. ^0^
Somptueux. Royal. Magnifique. Félicitations.
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much, consoleman09!!! I'll make a video about winter Hanbok as you requested~ :)
Amazing
So beautiful
It was really from IYSS~ :) I like the Kisaeng, Cheonghyang. She's not only beautiful but very intellectual~
You're right. Actually, Naemyeongbu ladies couldn't wear red and yellow Wonsam. That's because red Wonsam was for the queen, and yellow Wonsam was for the empress. But they were able to wear other colors like purple, green.
Well...? I don't think there is other specific name of traditional earrings... I think it's just called Gwigeori... :)
The WOnsam is the outermost garment? Beautiful
2022
Oh~ haha :) It's from The Immortal Yi Soon Shin~ XD And the Kisaeng's name is Cheonghyang~
My pleasure~ :) Thanks for watching~ XD
It's an OST of Drama Goong, Perhaps Love sung by HowL~ ^^;;
thx a lot!
Yeah~ But thanks to the ancient Korean women's effort, we can enjoy the beautiful art and culture~ :) Thank you so much!!!
Which episode was 04:29?
04:29 is not from Hwang Jin Yi, right?
It's a shame not all women could wear these beautiful hanbok Lower classes (except for kisaeng) had to wear a very plain white version. other colors (except for a dull grey) were not allowed.
I don't want you to spread clumsy knowledge to others.
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, white clothes were popular in Korea and did not restrict other colors. Rather, they restricted white clothes because they wore too many white clothes, a globally expensive dye at the time.
And as you can see from the traditional Korean paintings before the 19th century, you can see hanbok in various colors.
@@AAA-yw5iw Okay so commoners weren't forced to wear white but they chose to during most of the period because it felt natural to them (?) I guess I was under the impression (and some things I've read) that because of the hierarchical nature of the time, people were more restricted in what they could wear, etc.
excellent video!
Good work kjkj927
