I Shower to rinse, then run a hot bath with soap to soak then have a cool shower to rinse off and close the pores back up, and i feel amazingly clean, so a combination of both is best.
I'm more a Shower Person 1.It Cleans me a bit more and feels much fresher 2.Baths get to hot for me once I've been in there 10 minutes 3.Showers are more Good Hygiene 4.if I'm in the Bath after an hour it gets cold 5.Showers you can change temperature all the time if your to hot or cold 6. I'm not Lying in thilth The only time a Bath is mostly when I'm ill or had a very busy or stressful day and I'll need to lie in Bubbles and Hot water then to help me get better or to calm the stress down but even showers take my stress away
Shower wins for me. I own both but hardly use my bath as it takes too long, can dry your skin out and isn't as hygienic as a shower, I love my shower and when I come out of it I always feel squeaky clean, where as a bath can make you feel slimy afterwards and feel like you haven't washed if you're not careful
I'm more of a shower person than a bath person myself. It's better and more hygienic to clean in showers than baths because if you clean in baths, you're just sitting in your dirty water. Baths are pretty much only good for relaxing with bubbles anyway, enjoying life.
nope. It's a myth that showers are more hygienic, as they are actually damaging in ways baths just aren't. Did you know that showers actually damage your skin and wash away its natural oils and "good bacteria" which act as a protective barrier against foreign bacteria and other dangers? This is especially bad for your face, and it doesn't happen even nearly as much if one bathes instead (in fact warm baths were proven to gently exfoliate skin and even have therapeutic effects and reduce stress and fatigue) - it's just that your body, like the body of any animal, did not evolve to wash under waterfalls, so your skin is not naturally equipped to deal with powerful jets of water and fast scrubbing everywhere... In the end it's a matter of preference, but I find that showers have no real advantage except expediency. The whole "bathing in your own filth" myth is just stupid, as if one takes baths daily or even once in 2 or 3 days there won't be much "filth" to speak of (unless you rolled in mud or something, after which no sane person would bathe...) and sweat and residue on your skin is just as easily washed away by a body of hot water and some soap/shampoo as it is by a shower... Finally, this is just anecdotal so don't take it as an objective argument, but I found that when I showered I needed to do it daily to have no body odors and just generally "feel clean", whereas when I do my usual and I just bathe doing it twice a week is enough to keep my body just as clean as showering daily did - it might have something to do with the skin being dried more by showers and therefore producing more sweat/oils to recover than after baths, but if you only do one bath instead of 3 showers you certainly make up for the extra time and waste a lot less water...
@@Vict0r1984 I pretty much like having a bath at least 2 or 3 times a week at the moment; I seem to enjoy them more than my usual showers at the moment because of the bath at my new house that I live in being a big modern freestanding one. It's got a detachable shower head on it so I can rinse the suds off me when I wash myself after relaxing anyway.
Baths are more fore relaxing...but if you just take baths..you are indeed swimming in your own filth!....unless you take a shower first...get yourself clean...an then take that bath!
nope. Yes you are "swinmimg in it" but it doesn't stick to your skin - it gets washed away! Showers are uncomfortable and chore-like - they're all about rubbing fast, standing, and ultimately not made for human biology - animals are not evolved to wash in controlled streams of water hitting your skin, but far more so in slow moving bodies of water. Baths are relaxing, comfortable and yes, slower, but far more enjoyable and at least just as hygienic.
