Kinda fishing you'd expect in B C, great!👍🎣😎
Cool video 👍
You should totally do a contest so one of us lucky fans can hsve the chance to fish in person with you and learn from you
Great idea, probably next year. We wanted to do it this year but y’know... Covid.
In the US, it’s supposed to be 100% clip for hatchery fish…in California, particularly on my home river, I can guarantee that it’s not..it’s probably 50%-60%…
It would be nice if it was able to be 100% but even if Canada could get to 50-60% it would be an improvement! Thanks for watching
You guys should be way bigger than you are good stuff! Keep it comjng
🤷♂️ yeah I don’t get it. Can be frustrating but at least those who have found us enjoy it so far. Thanks for watching!
This looks awesome!!!!!
So psyched for this one!
Awesome! Hope you like it!
16:40 The fish is fresher up island ? The meat is redder ? Ya it doesn't work that way. The colour a salmon flesh is determined by it's Species/DNA and especially Diet. A Salmon gains weight and strength all the way along it's Pacific migration and peaks just before they go up the river.
Nail on the head with the science and the mismanagement of dfo… sad but hopefully with enough people fighting and continuing to show the actual data we can get to 100% clipping and a stock retention like it should be.
What depth were you anchored in and how much rode did it take to hold the boat?
wow great content you guys deserve more views!
Thank you! Please subscribe and share if you haven't yet!
Jealousy, all the way from Liverpool. When was this?
August 2020
What's withholding the rod upside down and reeling it backwards is that a Canadian thing lol 😆
He’s left handed and just trained himself over the years to flip the rod. Even though there was left handed reels he can catch a fish either way!
Nope that's a Yankee thing
@@ReelWestCoast super inefficient! And moronic at best!
It's a left-handed thing.
these facts make me so angry. hatchery fish are actually a risk to wild fish as they do not have the same instincts as wild salmon that struggled for survival. they are raised in pens. they should be targeted and fishermen should be able to keep at least a couple, year round. the politics behind these decisions is brutal. i know a fisheries (hatchery) manager for the DFO and he struggles to sleep at night for how bad the internal politics are. can't just change your career though when you've got a young family. it's that bad.
Infuriating for sure. If you aren’t already then please consider becoming a member of The Sport Fishing Institute of BC and help support those fighting for our rights as anglers. Maybe over time we could get some science based actions instead of just political.
No offense, a lot of talk about a nice Lodge and there seems to be a huge open space ounce of water to fish from but the fishing from what I saw in this video was not that good small fish small halibut and not very many fish not a good video to promote this new Lodge just being honest keep the lines tight
your a tool
No matter where you choose to go fishing there are certain elements the lodge can’t control. Weather, fish, water conditions etc. However out of the things that a lodge can control like amazing rooms, friendly staff, quality boats and outstanding food, Kagoagh Fishing Resort is one of the best in the game.
When you find yourself starting a sentence with "no offense, but...", you should probably just stop right there.
