Allied Van with Overheated brakes

- Allied driver ran into an overheated brake problem and tried to get to safe haven before overheating turned to fire.
Hope he got it all handled without any significant damage. Local drivers helped (via radio) direct him to a retail store where he could get it parked and out of the way while I covered his back door and communicated updates. Teamwork at it's finest by a bunch of strangers.
Watching this video on August 31, 2020 @ 7:30 pm. Sit-in on the shoulder of 1-20 and Mountain Creek, in Dallas while my brakes cool off..
Great job recording drivers like these. With no concerns at all and no safety worries at all..

No brakes...No hazards on...and my question is how do you melt the brakes off going down 30 in Indiana? Its flat with low speed limits.
Probably a brake dragging due to being out of adjustment, stuck, an air leak or some other malfunction.
ALLIED NEEDS TO GET THERE JUNK OFF THE STREET !

I agree with that question, in my opinion that's a good way to get someone killed.
Could've locked up the rear end and broke down.
