- Apollo's recall has been improving rapidly, this is the first time he's taken the corner and landed on my hand.

@@aaaameeera lots of birds can imitate sounds like that. Look up the Lyre bird, it can mimic things like car alarms, chain saws, camera shutters and more. There's even a video of one imitating a crying baby and it's so spot on it's a bit creepy.

Their house doesn’t look trashed. It looks tidy considering they have three birds living there. Birds chew paint. It’s something bird people accept and have to live with. The payoff is huge. Look at the friendships they have.
@@TamaraKane Dogs aren't much better, you will have hairs on your floor at all time regardless of cleaning and once in a while they have to puke, and they will ALWAYS do it on a rug. Its a rule xD

I have to second this. Thank you for sharing Apollo with us, I don't have a parrot and probably never will, so just seeing the things Apollo is capable of with your training is expanding my world in a way.

@@milkmanman I wouldn't say she's irritated, it's just a commanding tone so that Apollo can understand it more clearly (at least from what I can tell)

His tone is positive reinforcement. It’s funny cuz a lot of their teaching methods is what is used in special education classes. Birds are like autistic humans.
