Hate hate haaaaate the belt. Edit to add: I see y’all’s point about “if it was just to shill belts wouldn’t every team be doing it?” And I counter with: which team was tasked with partnering with the Utah Jazz in order to drum up hockey talk in Salt Lake City before the NHL approved the Jazz owner’s bid to buy the coyotes? It was the Kraken, unveiling the winter classic jersey via the Utah Jazz mascot. Belt is unoriginal, looks cheap, does not at all resonate with the city of Seattle or the team name.
@@heythere1115 I really don't get the seething over this. We are lucky to get the behind the scenes access. It may soon go the way of the full locker room interviews.
The Swayman deal triggered Joey contract. UFA status coming up, his stats are not far off Swayman. Best outcome is they can deal Grubauer this year without too much retention. Eberle extension helped kill their flexibility
@@ConfideKylie 4.5 m means they have no cap issues and a full 23 man roster. Extending 34 year olds was not part of the original philosophy, once those vet contracts rolled off the ELC kids would be given a shot.
@@rickyaz8640meh, I have zero issues with Ebs’ extension. He deserved it, is now the captain and already leads the team in goals snd points so far this season…
McCann-Stephenson-Burakovsky Schwartz-Beniers-Bjorkstrand Tolvanen-Wright-Eberle Kartye-Gourde-Tanev Seems pretty obvious to me. TOI can vary from line 2 and 3 and interchange. McCann is the closest thing to a Mark Stone as Chandler is gonna get on this team imo. Also, as far as the belt thing. I dont really care. The Hysteria needs to end. The best part of that locker room moments are the reasons they give an item to each other, not the item itself.
Thanks Dylan and RJ for the first Deep Dive of the regular season🎉
I don’t care for the belt, but fan reaction is crazy over exaggerated. Like you said, it’s a locker room thing for them, not us 🤷🏻♂️
The best looks like someone VGK would have, but maybe they'd think it too gaudy.
Don’t like da belt .

The WC Jersey reveal was an NHL decision not a Kraken one.
@@leogauthier5436 exactly. Just as the Davey Jones hat was an owner decision.

Ebs extension is nothing compared to the others signed 😂
