Nice snake!
I think so too!
Super bad and bloody snake bite too!
Definitely going to start bringing first aid kits now
That was a very pretty copperhead. I have a deer lease west of Columbus, TX. We have lots of them there. And scorpions, unfortunately.
I used to hunt near Ganado. We had a ridiculous amount of cotton mouths there. Also found a canebreak there once.
I love eastern chain kings, I used to catch them often in Georgia. But the speckled kings in Texas are usually very feisty, and poopy. Prairie kings are pretty cool, I've found a few west of Houston.
A bull frog started up during part of your video. I love hearing those guys at night!
Kings are definitely some of my favorite snakes to find! I’ll be back in the area soon and hoping to see more cool snakes!
You cried all night about the bite!!!:)
You are a funny guy
You’re supposed to kill hammer head worms if you find them
Yeah, in the moment I had no clue what they were.

Are the texas watersnakes mean? Up here in ohio they will bite your ass. Lol. They arent aggressve so to say but if you mess with them they will stand their ground and have no plans of retreating. Northern watersnakes are downright tough. They have nasty teeth for catching fish also so their bite hurts a bit.
From what I’ve seen so far they are very very defensive here in Texas! All seem to hold their ground and definitely don’t like being touched!
